Kulusevski and his refusal to use his right foot.
What's bizarre is that he was using it for the first 6-7 weeks this season, and it seemed to confuse his defender and thus made the cut in less precitable and more dangerous. Why on earth has he reverted?

Surprised at the constant complaint for the need of a striker. To cover for Son yes, but definitely not because Son is ineffective upfront. There wasn't even any pass to him to finish. The limp support from the wings is the biggest problem.

Not good enough if wanting to challenge top 4. A very good professional and imo a top 6-10 level player.
Yet somehow we've strangled our way into the CL four or five times with him about the place :D He's a solid squad player although admittedly after ten years (I think) you'd think his time is almost up.

Honestly, a ridiculous game.

We actually played well, although not particularly well in the final third, difficult to break down.

Two absolutely freak goals, first one, can't blame anyone really, second obviously a poor passbavk, unlucky really

Yep I was watching with 1 WH 1 Pool and 1 Man U
I think I was only one who could understand the result
Not sure freak because we concede these quite regularly
Sure it happens to other teams but we are the experts at giving away matches
Ange has some work to do
Shooting practice for starters

Woke up this morning and still really fucked off about the 2nd half. Such a shit performance, so many players were awful in that half and we looked absolutely clueless about how to attack. All we did was eventually give the ball out right for Deki who would cut inside and either lose the ball and pass it backwards/sideways or it would go to Porro who would attempt a cross which is not the way to beat west ham given the size of our team.
That 2nd half was as sterile as peak Conte era, yea we had possession but didn't have a clue what to do with it.

The first goal, not sure I've ever seen one like that, not anyone fault, just massively unlucky, even the scorer wasn't aware u till ball literally landed on his shooting foot!

Second an shocking pass back though

Taking off Lo Celso and bringing on skipp was a ridiculous decision.

it forced us to play Romero like a midfielder we had no creativity. Only Porre offered us a outlet in the 2nd half

Pretty damning comments from Son there, calling us soft many times. I agree though. This is the same thing that conte was trying to say last year.

We bought 2 players that basically carried the team (Maddison and Van Der Van) but when you take em out, we're left with the same dross as last year.

It's a learning curve for the- younger players and for our manager. Big Ange has learned the lesson other attack-minded managers like Klopp and Pep also experienced when they arrived to the PL. This league is different. It's physical and demanding. If you're going to have a sustained period of sucsess you have to be able to control games.

I'm not advocating to change the philosophy. We should absolutely continue to play the way we are. It's about being more pragmatic over 90 minutes. It's just not possible to play guns-out-blazing football for 90 minutes. These last losses we've gone all in from minute 1, completely steamrolling our opponents, just to fizzle out in the end.

I think this is a little harsh, we are playing so much better than last year, hell even since the Poch days. We fucked about too much in the first half and should have been 2-3 up at half time. Yes I’m frustrated too but we are miles away from the shit we played last year.

yes we're playing better than last year but like Ange said, he's here to win and that we need to stop saying that. we are not wining games and thats what ultimately matters.

Stayed off last night and off Twitter, but my god went on it this morning and my god, are there really fans turning on ange?

i can’t be arsed to read the comments form last night on here, but please tell me we’re not all saying the same?
We knew this season was a right off, we all expected it, I think the first 10 games have people waaaaaaay too much optimism.

insaid I’d be happy to see a cohesive plan, and an actual way of playing which we have ( we have been obliterated by injuries and suspensions)

it’s no surprise that we’ve fallen off a cliff when the usual suspects are back in the squad.

I’d trust ange over anyone to get us where we need to go, if he’s made this much of an impact (when we had full squad) in 6 months, just imagine what he could do with a couple
More windows?

Spot on. We definitely need another striker option to compete with Son but we hardly created anything for him last night.

The lack of quality on the wings was clear as day.

We were the victim of Conte tactics from West Ham. It does seem when there is a low block and the opposition keep it narrow we can’t break them down.

I feel that are wingers need to be more of a goal threat and they simply are not.

Even City, the so-called best team in the world, struggle to break down the low block sometimes- even with the wealth of talent at their disposal.

We created chances last night but didn’t take them. When that happens you can often end up with a bloody nose. If Richarlison had scored that header, we probably don’t lose.

Still can't get over that Richarlison header. Shocking miss
