Bring on the insults. If you can't win the argument then attack my apparent lack of knowledge. Hyperbole? Not sure you know the meaning of the word in my opinion we were rubbish at the weekend and needed a last minute defensive mistake to win, against Aston villa.
Like I said, all the chances we created and didn't take, to be playing that poorly, those chances don't come, it's a juxtaposition that can't exist, can it?

I am not going to criticise Davies. Like was said before, he just never owns his role. LB and RB are the first positions to sort out.

How can anyone seriously have a dig at Jose after the match? We are right in the mix for top 4 and still in the CL while missing our two top scorers. I think Jose is doing a great job.

Prior to Jose we were in actual relegation form for a year getting dicked by the Brightons of the league.

Looking at us play and the squad I'm reminded of something Harry Redknapp said when he first joined us, we have some great players but theres no balance to the squad. 1 striker and no defensive midfielders to speak of is the biggest problem imo.
Lo Celso, Ndombele, Fernandes and Bergwijn look mustard.
And Lamela was fantastic. If he's fit he has to start especially when we are so soft without him.

If Son and harry play tonight we win that game. They weren’t that great. Very frustrating.

Don't let their missed chances fool you. They're a good side, and had they taken them we could have been looking at a Bayern scoreline again

I think anyone expecting anything different at this stage of the season are being a bit unrealistic. We've been missing Kane for a large chunk of the season, Son is out, one of our major signings can't last 90 minutes, the other has only recently started playing well after overcoming a series of niggling injuries and two have only just arrived and are still finding their feet. That's without the negligent squad management, allowing certain players to virtually draw their pensions and all that.

That means players who wouldn't usually be picked are being asked to do what they obviously can't do. Players who would usually be picked are being asked to do too much and there's a cloud over the whole club that's been there since the CL Final.

People persist in lurching from player to player, pointing the finger, why isn't so-and-so playing, lets take a punt on playing him, why not give that one a go etc etc, this one is shit, that one is shit and none of it makes any difference. People were complaining about our attack today but did anyone really think we were going to create chance after chance with Kane and Son out? We struggled enough with the fuckers in the side yet still, there were people simply unwilling to cut any slack. And people are judging Mourinho now, seriously, now. Laughable.

We having a nightmare season. Its obvious to all but a few that there is no magic fix. We just have to get through it, the sooner the season is over the better.

What we're seeing now is largely what we're going to get until May so get used to it, things aren't going to magically improve, all some of you are doing by keeping on expecting something different is driving yourselves closer to an epic Yankspurs style hissyfit. Large doses of pragmatism are required now.

We need a solid pre season, a re-set and a fit squad with any arrivals being sourced early (fat chance of that one), get rid of one or two, sign some quality and we won't be that badly off. Until then all we can do is grin and bear it.

Yep that’s exactly how I see it.

I don’t know where the goals are going to come from so we will have to try and keep games tight and hope we can get harry and son back earlier than Mourinho has said. I’m convinced his Son timescale is mind games for example.

I think we are buggered for the rest of the season.

Let's hope that Levy now understands that we simply have to invest in a other quality forward in the summer as a number one priority.

If you genuinely think we didn't have good spells against Villa then we're not watching the same team so there isn't really anything either one of us is going to say to change the others view.

We played well over the weekend, not a complete game, but we were far from shit. You disagree, this back and forth is at an end.

But it is hyperbole. We weren’t rubbish, our Xg was nearly 4, meaning that we created excellent chances, 3 times as many as Villa did, and it wasn’t long ball punt and hope Football either, they were well constructed moves with ordinary finishing. Christ, Dele could have had 3 and Son should have bagged his first hat trick.

The only luck in that game went Villa’s way as they were lucky we didn’t hit them for 6.

All the talk is about missing Harry and Sonny which is very true but our midfield is also missing Sissoko big time, his work rate and covering is sorely missed..
