Being furious with the medical department is very believable. We always have had an abnormal amout of injuries and the time frames are always longer than you’d think.

I would be furious too. Had some discussions on here with people defending our first class facilities and first class medical team, yet injuries piling up in a ridicoulous way and a lot of players never seem to come back from some injuries. Is there another club that has so many Wanyamas or Dembeles that are basically completely finished as footballers?

Gio and Sonny out would be a real blow. Hopefully they can at least make the bench.

Bergwijn, Tanguy and Lamela behind Kane it is then. Or probably Lucas instead of Tanguy.

All seems fairly plausible to be fair. We know Gio has some sort of injury, Son was injured before the break and played with strapping on Friday and Lamela always starts the season before he inevitably gets injured in training 2 days later.

I think we tried to against Chelsea and Man U away, and Liverpool and Man C at home. The biggest surprise was, Liverpool aside, just how badly we defended despite a low block. Even in the 2-0 win against Man C they really should have had 4 or 5 goals as they had 7 or 8 very good chances, inc. a penalty.

Do we know why he is furious? Is it because they sanctioned us buying players who were in fact not fit? Or is it because they are ruling out players with minor issues instead of injecting them with cortisone and painkillers?
