Do we know why he is furious? Is it because they sanctioned us buying players who were in fact not fit? Or is it because they are ruling out players with minor issues instead of injecting them with cortisone and painkillers?

Getting the excuses lined up nice and early. Somebody else's fault is about par for the course.

This is impossible to call for any team. It's like starting the season, but no team has had the chance to have any pre-season.

There's going to be some crazy score lines pop up in the first few weeks I think as it is going to take all teams a while to get match fit again.

That being said, with us getting Kane back plus the others returning from injury I am a lot more optimistic about how we will play.

Not having a proper CF we where conceding possession back to teams immediately and our midfield and defence where constantly under pressure.

3-2 spurs win on Friday. COYS

This is like a cup final, I just hope the players and manager are up for it.

I've already accepted Rashford is going to run our defence ragged after the week he's had - he couldn't go into this match with more confidence! Let's just hope we can out-score them, because they're not that great at the back either.

I think we can benefit from the element of the unknown.

United had found a bit of form before COVID and had started to centre things around Bruno. I can't imagine them changing too much from when it ended, other than Rashford returning. Jose and his team will have studied this extensively and we will have prepared accordingly.

Ourselves on the other hand, have not really had any style or system to go on. It's a complete guess for United in terms of how we'll approach the game. Will we approach it in the same manner we did for Jose's first two games when he had a largely fit squad? Will we sit back like we did against Liverpool? Will we unleash Ndombele? Who will be our front 3?

It's a real tricky one for United to prepare for and that's not taking into account the long lay off.

Agree and I reckon mentality will have a lot to say as well as the fitness issue. As you say there will be some strange scores and itll be whoever adapts to the situation the best and quickest. We dont know how the players will respond playing with no crowd or if they are conscious that players on the pitch may be carrying the virus.

Just seen the training pics, looking like a well toned salmon farm but everyone looks in pretty good spirits. Not seen much news from Old Trafford so can't really compare but quietly confident that the team look happier.

Hope the news about GLC isn't true (claart) but either way I'm interested to see what team Jose picks.

This is also a chance for José to make a statement
He’s taken some stick unfairly imv as he had to take over when the season was well underway with us having some poor results and the usual crop of injuries that we get!

So I hope we give them a good pasting on Friday which will set us up nicely for the Spam next week and their Cup Final

3-1 to the mighty Spurs

A friend of mine suggested that if a triple substitution was done then they could come up through the ground like The Brood spitting blood. For the wrestling fans out there that one.
