Of course it matters. He is a player who has had limited game time in 2014 and is our record signing. We will be greatly dependent on him to link up well with other potential starters, who still happen to be in the game.

Maybe he knows lamely links up well with them and looking at others to see if they can, and if they do they may be kept, if not then sold..... We do need to ship some out.

And we still have more pre season games that will be more of a test

I like that we're at least playing through balls to Soldado who is making runs behind the defense again.

I know Soldado has been caught offside a few times, but it is good to see him making those sorts of runs and his team mates trying to pick him out with the through ball. There wasn't anywhere near enough of that last year.
