Probably face a backlash here but I'd drop kane next week if moura is back.

He's a passenger.

1 goal from open play in 5 matches in the league. The club made the decision in the summer to only sign Gil to replace Bale, Vinicius and Lamela. Bale's 11 league goals last season are going to be very difficult to replace. If Kane and Son do not match their 40 goal output, which looks unlikely, it's possible this squad may not score more than 50 goals this season. There's going to need to be business done in January. If top 4 looks impossible, then a sale of Kane to Man City should be considered. It would make this season a write-off but at least you could build towards next season and have Paratici look to get 4-5 deals done early.

That could have happened this summer.

Instead, we’re watching Kane’s value deplete before our eyes.

Still, we showed them who’s boss, or something.

Kane will be wanting that move in January. Mind you, he’s offered the sum off fuck all on the pitch since he has returned, other than against a bunch of Portuguese farmers.

I know this doesn't really need saying but Chelsea are a bloody good side and are just too experienced. I would be amazed if they don't win the pl and comfortably.

Kante, Alonso, Silva, apzilicueata, etc.. just incredibly experienced pros. We can't match that. We can't afford to buy those types of players, nor would they come to us and we couldn't afford their wages.

We haven't done that badly today, and there are positives but we are long way from Chelsea these days.

We have been beat by a considerably better team. Nuno could do nothing else today, no criticism for today. Just move on from this one.

Chelsea players got so much time on the ball this half, we can't even be bothered to press.

Question is, was the first half a sign of things to come and we will improve upon that, or was it as good as we will get and we will look like we do now in the 2nd half more often.

The issue I have is its different from game to game. Not really something i see as what we will be gettign int he future. Only time will tell but, whilst I appreciate we should be adapting to teams, I also feel we need to press our own system

Biggest issue today for me is lack of ability from the wingbacks. Not convinced either of them are capable of beating a man or doing anything when they cross halfway.

Chelsea are officially what we are to City at Home, another snooze fest from us failing to score vs them.

Meh. Chelsea are a much better side. But, we knew that already. Our fight is not with Chelsea.

We need a huge response next week though.
