So @Sweech thinks that conceding a shit goal after a couple of minutes is spam? Fucking lol. Spam away nugget.

"Flimsy Spursy Tottenham / shocking mentality":

In all of last year PLUS this year we've conceded more than 2 goals ONCE. Once in a year and a half of league football. How many times have we lost by a greater than one goal margin? Again one time.

You can take your "shocking mentality" home and suck on it. That's clearly not what this club is about anymore.

Wow, people are still going on about our mentality being flimsy when there is overwhelming evidence to suggest that our mentality has improved no end.

Conceding a free header in your own box after 2 minutes is flimsy and almost certainly Spursy. The club is not about that anymore? What are you on about? It certainly is shocking mentality to concede such a poor goal after 1/2 minutes. Glad we turned it around just like you(y)

Oh shoot you're right. We're a shocking Spursy mess. No other team has ever conceded an early goal from a free kick before in the history of world football...except all of them. Shocking mentality.

I don't think you can call that a shocking mentality, I mean even the best teams start slow and sometimes they get punished and that is exactly what happened to us, it happens. What you should be looking at is the fact that we've now won 13 points from losing positions which is the most by any team in the league tells you more about our fight, we don't tend to lay down anymore, IMO that's a bigger factor which shows our mindset as opposed to an anomilie like the early goal we conceded.

There should be an FA inquiry into the Kane penalty miss.
The ground to the left of the penalty spot was soft and gave way, but it would have been the same had Southampton got a penalty I hear you say!!. Guess what? Tadic the likely penalty taker is left footed and wouldn't have been affected by the soft area to the left of the spot!!!

Fucks sake, this forum sometimes... I think some people shouldn't follow football, seems far too stressful for them. Maybe tiddlywinks would suit them better?

If the ball moves before the penalty kick is taken then surely it should have been retaken? That's if the ref or Lino sees it?

He's not the messiah - he's just a kid learning the game. As fans we've got to understand that too. At the moment he wants every pass to be a killer one, every touch to be a nutmeg. He's got to learn percentages without losing the killer instinct. It will come with experience and good management.

Spot on, at his age most of us were still carrying our mothers shopping home.
