Just heard on the radio on the drive home that Paul Robinson has handed in his transfer request and has been told he can leave in the summer....

On Talkshite. Home of shite talk.

1) He loves it here.
2) He loves it here.
3) He'll be playing again soon for us; back and better than before.

Anyone that says "good" is a numpty-face.

If that's his attitude then fine. If he was a good enough GK he would prove himself worthy of a starting place. Guess Cerny was just too strong competition.

Robbo doesn't strike me as the sort to want to leave just because he's been on the bench the last three/four games... It's obvious he loves the club, and loves the fans... It's no way obvious that because Ramos has left him out recently that there's no way back for him...

hope not, when robbo is back to his best he will be amazing, i just hope that he gets there with us, the break he is having now will give him a chance to get past the problems he is having at the moment and work on the areas that he is lacking in

'If' he has, then there really is nothing like spitting the dummy out.

Jol & Ramos have stood by him long enough, he needed a rest and Cerny was knocking on the door for a place.

Big 'if', though.

I'm not so sure, he's got to get his confidence back before he gets anywhere near the team, and thats difficult when you're not playing.

Really pleased that we now have a manager with balls and has dropped Robinson! Jol would never have done this. Just how many fcuk up does he need to make before people realise he is not that good a keeper. Cerny has been excellent since he has been given a chance.

Yeah, confidence is all he's lacking and he needs to understand that. If he just waits and impresses in training like Cerny had to he'll get back into the first team. If any of this is true, which I doubt, then he really seems to be making rash decisions.

Awww, i'll be gutted if he has, doesn't strike me as the sort of player to do this after only a couple of games but who knows what's been going on behind closed doors!

Not being funny but who would buy him? I can only see two clubs: Portsmouth and Man City and I dont think they really need him

And thats part of the reason time ran out for Mr Jol, he didn't drop the players that needed dropping and he paid the price with his job.
