Sanchez doesn't have to go to Moscow. He still has agency in where he goes to.

DL should hang his head in shame. In fact the whole board should.

Even picking up the phone to Spartan Moscow is extremely disappointing and reflects badly on the club imo

Smacks of a club with no-one at the wheel right now; unless the club/Davinson's agent has put this out there to let others know the price (in which case there are a million smarter ways of doing it!)

Everything has become bloody clumsy over the last 5-6 years, clumsy may be being too kind.

I just can’t see how or why DS would accept moving to Moscow and play for them?
Highly racist atmosphere in the stadiums.
All Russian clubs are banned from Europe because of the war. Very uncertain what lies in the future for Russian oligarchs, finance and society as a whole (again: the war). The move makes no sense for the player.

Also what sort of message does it send to the rest of the squad? Dave’s a good guy behind the scenes, I can’t imagine it’s gone down too well with some of them to find out we’d even speak to them let alone accept an offer, great morale booster that and nice to see the club is looking out for its players.
If I’m Rodon et al I’m staying put thanks and riding out that contract just to stick my fingers up at those at the top.

Even with the ban from Euro comps some Russian clubs still signing non Russian players , looks like Zenit have signed four Brazilians
