Still, despite the scoreline, villa look to me as the better team

At home and they haven't really created a good scoring chance in an entire half. United are intentionally sitting back so it flatters how villa look in possession imo

Us and United have got some more favourable games in our next 5.

The one big difference is they play City in the middle.

So ideally we increase the gap a little more before the last 9 games where we both have to play Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle. we have to play City though.

But United have Liverpool and Brighton in their last 2 whereas we play Burnley and Sheff Utd who will have been relegated

Emery did similar at Arsenal.

Talk was he was leading them back to the top as they went on a great run but he could not sustain it and they became wildly inconsistent.

I like him and he is a excellent coach.

But he falls short of that elite category IMO
Don't disagree but didn't the board also back the players over him as well, which was one of the reasons he failed?
