Gala only paying 25% of his wages.
No way does he earn that much. They are paying 3.136m a year net. With 42% income tax that's like 4.5m a year. He's not earning nearly 18m a year. That's like 340k a week

20% income tax for footballers in Turkey so more like €300k a week, or round £250k which is close to being right I think.

Unless they make over 500k turkish lira a year from what I can see. Then it goes to 40%

I very much doubt there’s much chance they will end up taking that buy option. Considering he turned them down whilst the window was open one can only imagine how much effort, or lack there of, he will put in.

You never know. They'll likely win the turkish league and be competitive in the champions league. Plus they have a team full of relative stars so he might enjoy his time there and want to stay.

Honestly never disliked a Spurs player more. Can we just move his player thread to an area of the site none of us have to think about, cryptohub perhaps 😅hopefully by some miracle he actually tries and impresses at Galatasary and they activate the clause next summer and we can all move on from this nightmare, the sooner his negative energy and bad attitude is out of our club the better.

FWIW Dan KP has Ndombeles wages down as £110k per week. I imagine the much bandied £200k+ figure is maxed out bonuses. I’ve personally always been suspicious we’d pay him £200k guaranteed.

At £110k that’s ~£5.72m/€6.69m per year which would make the €3.14m contribution at just under 50%. Not sure if there could be anything to 40vs50% tax in Turkey vs UK (?) or also that they’re paying till end of season vs a full year/12 months.

Not saying this is correct but seems more plausible to me, based on how we operate, than the idea we’re still paying him £150k/week. More likely to be £50-60k IMO.

Still a massive waste of money, hope they buy him!

POK saying gala are paying him 3m net and in Turkey income tax for footballers is 20%. So that means we are paying him a little over 50% as he's on €12m a year.
