Dembele is my fave player ever and still is.

I love ndombele, such a fun player to watch and so fucking skillful but no one touches Dembele... NO ONE

I actually think he was disrespectful yesterday. The way he just passed the first of his goals in. He should at least make it look like it takes some effort.

That goal was Greavesiesque. So non-chalantly executed.
I think we read nonchalance, because we don't believe how easy it is for those players. Tanguy's pass and run, the double pass off his heels, and space created, the use of that space and the swivel to kick the ball back to his left and the keeper's right into the net. It all happened in an instant, and he knew what he was doing every step of the way.

If only Dembele ever scored, or assisted, or did anything apart from ponderously dribble the ball up to the opposition area before passing to someone. I've never seen a player slow up an attack as much. I'd take Ndombele over him every day of the week and I wanted him gone in the first year he was here. He shits all over Dembele.

He shouldnt be compared to our past players. He is simply very different. That’s why it makes no sense to compare him to Dembele or VDV or Modric or anyone else. He is just very unusual in terms of his style. He is unlike any player I have seen before. That’s not me saying unique should be conflated with world class brilliance. I hope one day he can reach that standard consistently. But for now he is just fun to watch. He can do things that others can’t.

After we scored that second goal last night, he took over. And the rest of the team went up a couple of gears. I swear, if they had to play an extra 30 mins and needed to score 4 more, they would have. It was pretty damn fun seeing Sonny, Kane, Bale and Tanguy go up a level and show just how talented they are.

My Arsenal workmate says if given the choice of having our Ndombele, he would rather keep Thomas Partey! :shifty:

Ndombele is a modern combination of Jay Jay Okocha and Yaya Toure i.e. the skill and technique he demonstrates , the way he runs and dribbles with the ball, the vision and clever use of the ball and his finishing, remind me of both of them. He is a unique player and what I like the most is how quickly he passes the ball, keeping up the tempo. We are often ponderous and too slow at moving the ball, it;s been like that for a while and it can get predictable, but with him in the side, there is usually a faster rhythm and flow to our overall game.
Ndombele does unpredictable things and has great vision. In an instant he can produce a pass that cuts right through the opposition midfield and defence, a bit Messi-like and we often have a good chance to get a shot away.
He is getting better all the time, adding goals to his game and his fitness is improving. He deserves all the praise he gets, as he is a joy to watch this season. I think he'll play a crucial part in us winning something.

Was thinking along the same lines

I think he's at that level where Spurs fans have been converted, a few journos, but the majority of football fans are a bit "meh" when he's mentioned.

The next level is totally bossing games, week in, week out and performing against the biggest teams.

His first test is tomorrow.

One minor thing that irritates me about NdomPele is he scuffs the basic / easy passes. His vertical passes are incredibly crisp. His through balls are weighted to perfection. But his horizontal passes under no pressure are often scuffed and underhit which just slows things down. Maybe I’m being too demanding ?

Let's all vote for Ndombele's goal.
I would say I'm not bothered about polls relying on fan votes, but it's amazing how competitive I get when I simply don't want Bruno Fernandes to win with an 18-yard free-kick. How many double chops do you see served on a plate each season..? ???
