Yes and?

He's a magnificent talent. He barely got a touch second half. He was taken off.

This isn't having a go at him nor questioning his work rate - it's simply acknowledging that Burnley saw the threat and nullified it and we, as a team, couldn't get him on the ball as much as we'd like.

We need to find a way to get him on the ball as much as possible. Hardly a controversial statement - although I see the interminable troll Pissy Sprocket is spamming me - thank gawd I don't have to read his drivel now he's on ignore :ROFLMAO:

It’s hard to tell if its you or Danny Murphy giving your opinion. You make me laugh tho, criticising others spelling today when last week you couldn’t spell “just”

spammed you as I disagree. It’s not personal babes, then again I’m on ignore so you won’t read this.

Stay safe buddy ❤️

Remember when there was this weird plot against my liege this summer and loads wanted him out of the club? I’m so happy people came to their senses cause my mans is a human highlight with a taint tickling deft touch and velvety dribbles that we’ve been deprived of at this club. To his continued success ?

Put in a great shift last night, Son buries the through ball and he’s king, otherwise the pass is largely forgotten

the key is for Jose to be brave enough to play GLC and TN together, even for a half- one of them would make the most of the space

instead of the joys of watching Sissoko panic every time the ball lands at his feet

I think we won't see that midfield combination until the fixture list is a bit more normal. Looks like he is trying to keep one of them on the pitch at all times while keeping them fresh, because they are the only midfielders we have with creative ability.

His skillset is at an advanced level. He can get himself out of the tightest spots

Class act.

So much enjoyment watching him play. That little play in the first half down at the corner flag was Brilliant.

The one where he shot? And missed the pass to the player just beyond the penalty spot who was unmarked and in acres of space. I thought that was good play right up until he shot. Poor decision. Almost certain goal if he found our player which had a clear lane to.

Football is such a fickle game. So much bs 2 months ago and now everyone loves him. I would only ever expect the loyalty from players that fans give - loyalty when things are going well.

start of the window and all the talk was how Levy would accept the 42m we paid for him... 3 months later and now I doubt he'd accept 80m if it came in

Whenever he was on the ball you could feel he's quality. But I think he went quite for large periods of the game. Difficult opponent though so still I would say solid performance.

So happy to see him happy. Feels like he's come full circle now.
Would half circle be more apt? As in doing a 180...

Full circle suggests he’s returned to a previous position, but he’s never been held in such high regard and playing consecutive matches like he is now.

No idea why I’m spending my morning contemplating such stuff when it’s obvious what you mean. Anything to avoid work.

Not sure it’s that right now tbh. Hip has been coming back from injury, and it’s a great way to give him minutes to have them splitting games right now. I think it’s coming, but let’s let them both be up to full speed first.

I bet you never complain when Son or Kane does that, which is pretty damn often.

Yes, he should have tried to get the ball to Lucas but I think I can forgive him for having a rare pop now and again.

sadly you’re right, but even though PEH appears to be made of graphite he can’t play every game, so Jose needs to come up with something

He frustrates me a bit, he needs to get on the ball more.

His spacial awareness and finding pockets needs some work.

late in the first half Son should have played him in with a relatively easy pass where he would have been clean through on goal.
