A few poor touches from him allowed Utd to break, unlike him really. Still did well overall and works a lot harder. It will take his team mates time to get on the same page as him. A couple of times he played a forward ball and it wasn't anticipated. Still love him in that central attacking midfield position.

Thought that was one of his sloppier performances with the ball, still some great passes though. Just shows the level of footballing ability he has.

Off the ball superb, worked really hard both pressing and tracking.

He is going to be a monster in the very near future.

I think the United game is a good marker, if he can get 20/30 minutes here and there in prem games whilst also starting some europa/cup games and build towards then we can slowly build to him becoming a key part of the team come the time that united game rolls around. Alternatively Jose could just throw him in early.

I have critized him before (also said he had huge potential). Now he is starting to show that potential. Not a perfect game from him today (still very good), but he is a different player compared to last season.

Speaking to RMC Sport after Tottenham Hotspur’s 6-1 win over Manchester United, French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele could not hide his delight.

“This is not nothing, that’s for sure, we can say that this result is exceptional. Everything worked for us today. Nobody backed us and in a 6-1 win we gave a penalty away in one minute, but we were able to keep our heads high and quickly score the first two goals. Aside from that, it is certain that the card for Anthony (Martial) changed the match.”

On his relationship with José Mourinho:

We had a few differences last season, the coach and I. Aside from that, we are trying to each put our egos to one side, to allow the club to advance. For the moment things are working for the better, let’s continue like that.
