We have to build the team around this guy. Comfortably the best player on the pitch today, as he has been nearly every time he's played.

I literally think hes incapable of being dispossessed. He made the Norwich midfield bang average.
It might surprise you to know that the team who are bottom of the league have a midfield that is already less than average and ours managed to perform for the first half at least a lot worse

Amazing considering their two midfielders are 2nd tier players in their 30's. Not saying he wasn't excellent, but you're doing him a disservice with that statement.

The whole Norwich side is bang average. I'd take Aarons because it would mean not having to have Aurier again and Pukki because he's funny looking. Aside from that they are as average a team as the PL will see and will be down by March

The question for me with Tanguy is where does he play he is not a defensive midfielder or a number ten. He doesn’t, look to have the range of passing to dominate games. There are plus points but I think there are a lot of questions as well none more so than what formation suits him and does he offer enough flexibility tactically

Then you haven't watched him properly then. ;)

I think he plays next to a CMD in a double pivot or a 3 which would suit him better.

But as yet and yes he hasn’t played much he hasn’t dominated games and when I say range of passing I mean pinging balls out wide and working the ball. What I think he is good at is carrying the ball and hitting fairly aggressive passes into people . Looking at him he might work ok in a four in midfield but there is not a lot of that abour

He was so good today. Everything we’ve needed from a CM for so long. I’ll be genuinely gutted if he ends up back on the bench for Soton.

He was ok, he hardly dominated the midfield of the bottom team in the league or significantly impacted the result but he did beat a guy on the half way line a couple times and wasnt awful. But again no one can claim to have had a blinder during a desperate draw against the bottom team in the league,

Forget all that though he DID a rAbOnA!!!?!!!
So 10/10. worth every penny.

He did actually dominate their midfield. He was like a one man show at times. He wasn't the reason we only drew, not his fault he is playing next to a load of shite like Aurier and Foyth who make gaffes. Our defence was the reason we struggled yesterday, and Kane and Alli not being clinical with their chances.

One man show. Funny guy.

Go and watch a true worldie like Messi against us, or Bale in the Inter game to see the definition of a one man show (at Champions league level.)

He did a rabona, in a 2-2 draw against the worst team in the league. You cant dominate a game and also make zero impact on the scoreline.

he was ok, and did some eye pleasing stuff but hold fire on the 21 gun salute.

Hopefully he can build on his half a game of football and prove that the creaming of pants and £60mill spent on him were all worth it, otherwise it's a lot of wasted fluid and cash over one man ...

Clueless. Don't worry you'll get there one day.

He is clearly a very talented player but think he has a mistake in him and will cost us a couple of times. I am ok with that as we need some risk takers, all our other CM’s are far too safe and slow our play down.
