Is it possible to buy out his contract and let him go? I don't know if there's any prior history for situations like this (big contracts etc)?
Didnt we do that with Aurier? Is it possible to buy out his contract and let him go? I don't know if there's any prior history for situations like this (big contracts etc)?

The Dele deal was structured to potentially return us £40m. In reality it is going to return us fuck all, other than getting his wages off the books.
Unfortunately bone-idleness and zero interest don’t constitute breach of employment contract. Can we not just keep fining him his wages for whatever reason so it effectively get his wages off the books
Didnt we do that with Aurier?
So bored with this..

Or he's just lazy. Some people for all the talent in the World just don't wanna get off their ass and do an honest days work.Such a shame. Undoubted skill and amazing touch.
From a psychological point of view….he’s obviously very insecure about something. Very afraid of some aspect of football.
It’s most probably his interpretation (or misinterpretation) around the pain of being outside his comfort zone.
Maybe he misconstrues the discomfort of covering so many yards on a football pitch, especially in a high press.
Or it could be he’s terrified of ‘being found out’ or ‘being seen to be letting the side down’ etc.
He’s not a bad human being (not many people are) but he’s riddled with some feelings of inadequacy or insecurity.
To label him lazy is too simplistic. There’s a fear that lurks within him…that won’t allow him to fully commit…because of the idea of pain that awaits.
The human mind is a complex beast…and it’s a real shame he hasn’t found the right specialist to unlock the puzzle inside his mind, that ultimately sets him free and allows him to fulfil his undoubted potential.
That’s why I keep reiterating that a mind specialist (a really good one) is an essential element to any top, professional sports team these days. Crazy to invest so much in players…and not invest into the continued cultivation of their minds.
Basic psychology is not always enough. These days you want people drawing from multiple practices and methodologies...eastern and western.
I appreciate the psychological analysis.Such a shame. Undoubted skill and amazing touch.

I can’t tell whether this is a pisstake or not.Such a shame. Undoubted skill and amazing touch.

I doubt he’d not sell to Saudi Arabia.I would have thought one of the Saudi teams would be interested, but wasn’t it alleged recently that Levy is reluctant to do any business with them? I admire his moral stance, but he’s handicapping the club by doing so. Especially when all new incoming players are dependent on outgoing deals. Can we really afford to snub offers for players like Tanguy, who are almost impossible to shift?
Jose gets a lot of shit but this was a real class thing to do by him I thought. Didn’t have to do that at all, could have just let him rot but he did his best to try and help himI'm not sure anyone can motivate him. I mean Jose did one on one fitness training in lockdown at risk to himself (both legal and health), and that didn't work.
