Looks to be playing fairly conservatively which is understandable, hope we see more of him and help him develop.

Looked very much to be playing to instructions....continually turning the ball back. In that final third I'd like him to use his pace to take on the defence. I think he has the ability to get to the touchline....we have seen in our past three games the damage a flying winger can do. Looking closely it seems that, if anyone, it is Dele who Sessegnon is combining with

Needs to learn how to dribble and take the defender on to get to the byline or into the box.

And needs to learn how to cross the ball.

All Sessengnon did was get the ball. Face up to his opponent for a couple of seconds, then immediately check back. He killed pretty much all forward momentum Spurs was trying to generate on left side.
That was my criticism of him on his previous outing, gets the ball, checks back and loses momentum.
But, he's still young and new to the team, so it'll take him a while to gain confidence.
He's got the ability.

I think Harry's injury will benefit him. He's not a LB so having Son move centrally will allow Ryan to play as a LW and make those clever runs that he's known for.

He came into Fulham’s team as a 16 yr old at left back. I think he’ll eventually be world class there. He doesn’t have the dribbling ability to reach the same level playing further forward imo

I don't really know what Sess is, he's not one thing or the other.

However, I know he's got 'something,' and that's maybe good enough.

I liked the cutbacks he was making on the 1st January. Better than Danny R.

He’s too good infront of goal to be wasted at LB and doesn’t have the natural instincts to want to defend, especially the way Jose expects you to

Why does everyone keep saying "LB".

We don't and haven't played with full backs for bloody ages. We play with wing-backs, which are essentially left midfielders in our formations we've used for quite a while now (several seasons).

You forget we have a new manager? Who hasn’t been here for ages and we really have no idea how he likes to KJ up yet.

Has dribbling ever been one of his strengths? Honest question as I haven’t seen him play before.

Not that I'd watched him religiously but it was his off the ball running in behind that always stood out to me more than his on the ball running.

I know he's young, feeling his way into the team, and was out with injury for a while. But any bod, could have done what he did today.

Just seems scared of losing the ball, and either doesn't want it, or can't wait to get rid of it. Looks like he just needs more confidence.
