Everything I’ve seen of Sessegnon says he’s overrated, at 25 million. What does he add to Spurs that Danny Rose doesn’t already, and better?

Goals and assists. Sessegnon already has more career goals than Rose - admittedly he's played in a different position and different league for some of that that time (although Rose also played in the Championship in his early career). RS is definitely more of a goal threat though.
Sessegnon also picked up six assists in the Premier League last season compared to 17 for Rose for his entire premier league career. I'm a big Danny Rose fan, but his delivery isn't always the best.

It's the defensive side of the game where most people aren't sure about Sessegnon yet though as he hasn't really done it much at this level yet.

I think it's easy to forget that he's only 19. He debuted for Fulham in his GCSE year, he was only 16 so, despite being on team sheets pretty regularly for three years, he's still not even turned 20.

He's got quite the head start in competitive football and if he lives up to his potential then he could be an absolute steal at £25m. I hate the ballooning cost of premier league footballers but we have to accept that this is the level it's reached now. Average players change hands for 10m+, which cracks me up. I remember laughing for three days straight when Newcastle announced they'd signed Titus Bramble for £6m, but that was 15 odd years ago.

25m for a lad who has huge potential, three years experience in two of the most competitive leagues possible, a few years from his peak so time to work our play style into his habits, but ten to fifteen years of a career ahead of him? Bargain, imo.

Difficult to say mate, on the basis that he hasn’t had the chance to pull the bloody shirt on yet

People seem to be talking about him on social media like he’s some kid we’ve picked up from U23 football like Clarke. He has 120 senior appearances and 25 goals. Imo he’s more than ready to immediately slot into the matchday squad.

It's based on fuck all but I bet my left bollock if he was still at Fulham he would have racked up a fair amount of minutes.

Be nice for him to get a 20 min run out on Sunday.
