The following article (https://statsbomb.com/2019/08/tottenham-hotspur-2019-20-season-preview/) speculates on a possible formation as follows:

"We could also see back four systems with Juan Foyth at a right back/centerback flex position as the left backs push up the field more in a lopsided formation."

In other words, that LB could be Sess having more freedom to play as a winger, although technically as a LB in a back-four formation.

Plenty to prove after a disapppointing PL season last year.
Hoepfully he comes good and we can finally have a left back with some end product.
By disappointing you mean more assists than any Spurs player in a side that was relegated and scored dramatically fewer goals, and at just 18, right?

Found this on the Fulham forum :p

"He won’t play, his progress will be stunted and we’ll still have Steven. So we’ve got the better deal imo "

I don’t think his impact in the side will be immediate but I think he easily has the potential to be one of the best LB/LWBs in the world. The way he was able to completely dominate the left side of the pitch in the Championship at 17 years old was nothing short of astonishing.

Now I think under Pochs tutelage he’ll soon be doing it in the Premier League.

Number 19 confirmed as well, was hoping he’d get 16 and KWP moved to 2 but hey ho.

Amazing. Thought we missed our chance on him last summer. One of the most exciting young players in the country.

I hope so. Even with any combination of our full-backs we should be looking to do that, but especially if Foyth is playing right back.

Wonder what happened with Steven Sessegnon though as we were supposed to be in for him too.

Maybe we’re monitoring to see if he actually breaks through with Fulham first.

Delighted by all our signing's, but I especially can't wait to see this kid in action. He says all the right things in his interview, especially about wanting to learn. And there's no one better to learn from than Pochettino. COYS

Pretty sure @Hercules mentioned Fulham wanted too much for him considering he disparity in experience. Or something.

He sounds very mature and it seems he really wanted to be at spurs. Video doing the rounds of him raving about Bale and how he idolized him. Going to be a star for Poch, think this will turn into another dele signing (y)
