He could be in a bit of trouble if this team plays to it's potential, on the other hand we could be desperate to have him back on New Years day.

Full article;

Following a clinical assessment and scans, Moussa Sissoko has today (Tuesday) undergone surgery to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee.
The France international sustained the injury in our fixture against Southampton, resulting in him missing our recent FA Cup tie at Middlesbrough.
Our medical staff will monitor Moussa’s recovery before he commences rehabilitation with a view to returning to training in early April.

This might be a blessing in disguise. I think he's an excellent player but doesn't fit in a midfield 2. He spends far too much time on the right hand side of the pitch

Go and buy Soumare now, CM additions are vital. As for Moussa I love him as a squad player but I think when he starts at CM it doesn't help us. He overcompensates for Aurier's defensive weakness IMO and leaves the midfield wide open. Still wish him a speedy recovery however.

Not a big problem about being short in midfield because at least our goalkeeper, defence and attack are all sorted...

Fuck.

He mainly does this because he's Aurier's babysitter tbf

With Sissoko out, Ndombele with his own injury/fitness issues, suddenly starting look quite bare in midfield. Lo Celso also still acclimatising Winks and Dier it is I suppose :cautious:

Also who's going to bail Aurier out now :unsure:.

I swear players are getting injured for nothing now

As others have said Sissoko has become very effective for us but he creates as many problems for us as he solves. Hopefully we spend some money on an effective DM to free up Ndombele, Winks or Lo Celso to play a more expansive game.
