I'd imagine that's probably because you're not one of our coaches with access to daily interaction with Foyth, copious amounts of analytics on Foyth and even basic conversations with Foyth.I think that could well be right for CB. But not for midfield.
For the life of me I can't understand why he's not being given a go at DM. I really don't get it
Foyth is in his third season at the club, and in that time we've had severe issues at DM. The fact that he's never had a go there under either manager suggests that there probably isn't any justifications to give him a go there. Neither manager is afraid to experiment with players positions after all.
He's a centre back, maybe a right back, if anything. Whatever he is, I think his future will be elsewhere anyway, because as talented as he is, he is only 18 months younger than Sanchez and just over a year older than Tanganga, both of whom seem far more developed than him and have their entire careers still ahead at the top level. I don't see Foyth getting the game time he needs to catch up, never mind surpass, those two players as long as he remains at Spurs.
