I was terrified when Doherty came on. Was much happier when we shifted to five at the back.

I want to hold my hands up and apologise. I said a couple of weeks back that I didn't think he was ready. To be fair I was referring more towards Japhet playing at CB. I still stick to that as I don't feel he will ever be a top Prem CB, but RB is a different story. He won't face much more difficult tasks this season and he was unplayable! If he can carry today's performance forward, we have a seriously good RB on out hands.

Absolute class today. He may not want to be a RB but he's too bloody good not to be one!

I'm always a bit worried about his injury record, so I think we'd be wise to bring in another RB (i.e. Tomiyasu) but the position is Tanganga's to lose at the moment.
