Depends who you want to believe tbh
Seen it’s compulsory if we get CL football but a option if not, but also seen it’s compulsory no matter what.
I thought it was any European football, so the Europa League as well

I'm with rossdapep on this one. Jose had limited time prior to the game to put his mark on things, so he used players in positions that they knew well and didn't throw anyone in the deep end.
Dele was played off Kane.
Aurier was given licence to bomb forwards.
Dier was asked to play as a DM and press all the way up to Rice on occassion.
Davies was not asked to be a wing back.
GLC will have his chance, no doubt. If I'm honest, I wanted to see him given a chance next to Dier after we went 3-0 up, but injuries forced our hand. Going forward I can easily see him having chances at both #8 and #10. He was one of the best midfielders in La Liga last year, there is no way that Jose and his team are unaware of the talent he possesses.
This guy has the ability to play just about anywhere across the midfieldWill be a valuable squad member can play any of the front 6 positions.
Erisken’s still going, so no, I reckon Lo Celso will get his chance. He’s a scrapper and a worker so I think Jose will love him.Could see us trying to get out of this purchase now.
Reckon Mourinho would rather spend the money put aside towards a defender
His versatility, creativity and work rate is going to do him a world of good - assuming we keep a similar system we saw against West Ham he can play in the floating 10 "Dele" role as well as in midfield as the creative 8 role Ndombele is going to inherit when he's back fit.Erisken’s still going, so no, I reckon Lo Celso will get his chance. Lo Celso was in José first training session on wedsI'm sure Mourinho said on thursday's press conference that a few players had only got back that morning, I guess that was Lo Celso and Foyth so I doubt he even considered them., It also included Davinson Sanchez but there was no alternative but to play him, I think in the circumstances he did well.
He’s super versatile. Can play as a CAM/CM and WF. He doesn’t have the explosive pace of Moura or Son but he’s a decent dribbler and passer. Also possesses a good long shot on him, and is tenacious. He’s got to feature in our match day squad and really should be getting game time because of his ability and versatility- he can offer rotation without any drop in quality at allBased on the formation and players picked yesterday where does GLC fit in?
Can only really see him as a no 10 or wide right in the 4231 formation we played yesterday and the way Lucas and Dele played he could be in for a spell on the bench for now

Fair enough so he obviously just doesn't rate him, is that how it works?Lo Celso was in José first training session on weds
He can play either role, a bonus for us and MourinhoIn one of the training vids, he was on the right, hitting diagonal balls in to the box for Dele, Son, and Kane.. Dier was doing the same from the left over to Moura and Kane. So from this I conclude that Jose will play him in rotation in the 8 or 10 role.
No, my point was would he want to spend the money elsewhere. We have about £40m to pay out on him.Fair enough so he obviously just doesn't rate him, is that how it works?
