No coincidence our tempo went up the minute he came on.

Constantly turning and playing forward. Has to become a integral part of the team if we want to get better.

exactly - and the opposite of Dele who went backwards, sidewards really slowly. He needs to be the in box, last man or out of team.

I don't think he's completely adapted to the speed/intensity of the league yet and I am slightly concerned about his athleticism. However, He's got sharp technique and is such a clean, progressive passer. If Eriksen goes this January he's probably our most creative player alongside Ndombele and he needs a run in the side in the coming months to see if he can really step up.

I see that inside right position his role when everyone is available. I thought he linked up well with Aurier on the overlap. He picks up nice pockets and turns quickly to get us moving. I love his progressive nature and penetrating moves forward. We often played Eriksen out wide but he was able to roam and orchestrate still from there. I think Lo Celso will do the same and he'll work hard and track back too.

On thinking this through, perhaps we need a DM behind them to get the best out of both of them
Our best midfield combination for me was Wanyama and Dembele with Eriksen, Alli and Son supporting Kane. I think Ndombele and Lo Celso are excellent replacements for Dembele and Eriksen, we just need that Wanyama replacement.

He brought some impetus, dynamic, quick and going forward i.e. playing a forward ball or pass. He looked good today and is betterin that position than being on the wide right when he has previously come on (helped lamela was of the same and brought his warrior fight mentality , i wish more of our players had that)

Really want to see him with Ndombele and an all action ball winner sat behind. Almost wouldn’t matter what combination of forwards played ahead of them if we could get that working as a midfield three.

The difference between Alli and GLC is startling. One has excellent technical ability and footballing intelligence. The other is a severely flawed slow dilly dally player.

We need to fill our team with more Lo Celso and NDombele, and get rid of Alli.

Our best team is Kane Son, Lamela, GLC, NDombele etc

Definitely would be interesting. Can only see it happening it Alli picks up a long-term injury though.

He got injured remember and then was slowly being phased in. If you see his performances so far I think it’s fair to say he’s going to take a while to fully adapt so Poch had it right not throwing him in the deep end.
He did indeed get injured, my bad.

Still think, give the injury, he could have seen a little more playing time, but I'll put that down to me being impatient and the fact that I still don't overly agree Eriksen should (have) been getting so much game time with performances ..

All in the past I guess.

I will continue to say how did Poch envision Celso and ndomble co-existing in the same starting eleven without a player to sit and recycle behind them ... Scattergun.

He did. Winks was his main man.

Thing is, if that is the case how does that work with ndomble? ... Transfer business is fucking confusing.
I'd adapt city's 4-1-4-1 system were N'dombele and Lo Celso would take on David Silva's and de Bruyne's roles as 8 and halves were they can share the #8's and #10's responsibility.

I'd put Son wide left, Lamela wide right, our mobilest midfielder in the ferndanhino role at the base, winks/skipp, but most likely we'd have to buy a proper option.
