fair, any thoughts on finished product DM the club should be targeting?
Sadly, I don't get to watch enough footie, especially outside of the Prem.
I think we need a Kanye style player, though there are others far more knowledgeable on here, that will be able to provide suggestions. Someone quick, all action and intelligent. Or even someone like Carrick, who's speed wasn't all that but his positional play was so good, he'd block attacks by just being in the right place.
I'm not asking for much!

Boo hoo! My shiny new, young, foreign player, who's new to the league, didn't come in and boss the game on what? His second start?!
I'm so upset by that, I'm unable to see any good things he did during the game and so, I'm going to write him off as shit!

Fucking hell, what to people expect?!

I thought he did pretty well overall. He knitted things together quite nicely and played a handful of really nice passes. He showed for the ball consistently and made most of his tackles. He did a bit of tracking back as well and almost got Alli in for a score. In the context of a player who's had very few chances I think that's a good return and we managed to get the ball down and play some football instead of the God awful hoofball we've seen of late. Sure, the result was disappointing but there were some encouraging signs, particularly with GLC and Ndombele and the way they freed up Eriksen.

Fucking hell. People lauding Sissoko for his point and run attitude in every game but a player who has about 150 mins under his belt is being deemed not good enough already.

I like him, good touch, good passer, got a bit of bite to him. Think he needs time to adapt to the league more than Tanguy.

Will benefit massively from a DM allowing him to get forward more if played in a midfield three again.

Would really like to see him played more forward as well. Few lovely one touch passes and flicks that over time will unlock a lot of defenses.

Anyone notice Dele having a go at him? Also turning his nose up when GLC tried a shot. Not good from Dele. Needs to help the guy settle, not blast him all the time.

I haven't seen anything yet from him to suggest he's anything other than a neat & tidy player & from what I've seen he'll be another Lamela never quite good enough to make the team better.

Grealish on the other hand shows virtually in every game why Poch wanted him & we've missed an opportunity to improve the squad. He's now worth 70/80M & we could have had him for 40M.

How are you comparing a player who has been injured most of the season, is new to the league and has mainly played out of position to one who has played for the team he supported his whole career? Are we not giving foreign players any time to settle now then? ??‍♂️

I’ve seen enough from Lo Celso already to be able to say, if he is given a run of games in his best position he will be a success. Has great vision, defending and tracking back is not his thing though.

Dele needs to realsie that if players did that to him every time he fucked up an opportunity he'd feel pretty bad. No need for it.

Really hard to say so far. What I do feel about our squad is there are now quite a few players who you sort of feel the team needs to accommodate, rather than being a lynchpin you build around.

Dele - needs a free role but can go missing
Kane - needs pace around him to get the most of him
Ndombele - needs a DM
Lo Celso - as above, and is not a winger

All good players but we’ve got some difficult questions to answer

like I say, hard to judge for now. He was great in Spain so there’s definitely a player there, but we’re trying to integrate him into a struggling team so it’s all pretty challenging really

I've seen people like that before in football teams that I've played in. Happy to have a go at the new guy or youngsters, but unwilling to be apologetic or learn from their own mistakes.

Hopefully Lo Celso doesn't have the media end up railing him like Dele did at 21/22 then, shouted at by a team mate vs national media in your ear hole because you have a competitive side - dear oh dear.

If defending and tracking back are not his thing he’ll need to find a new manager to play under soon

Just like Ndombele, both these players need more playing time to get used to this league and you will see the improvements in their play. Both are young and have come from other leagues. Not many players have an immediate positive impact in a new league.

It’s not as though they have been terrible whenever they have played.

We fans need to be more patient.

That’s where a mobile fullback would be very useful, allowing Dele to drift in field towards the box

Been saying it for weeks, give him a similar role to Ronaldo at Madrid which was basically only to make those runs to get goals with little else responsibility.

Exactly. Give them time to adapt. Sons first season was not that great either. Still better than putting Eriksen & Rose on before them who have no future at the club.
I hope Sess and Lo Celso start next game too.

This season I am seeing more and more moronic and impatient fans. Very disappointing guys.

GLC will be a top player for us and some of you will look back and feel embarrassed.
