Bayern has the most ridicoulous sports director of any top team. He has yet to make his first good deal without a buy out option.
Will have a fun time with Levy around

City won a PL title with Fabian Delph at LB. Their attacking depth was key. My guess is Poch thinks he can solve the FB problem creatively. I'll back him.

Playing Foyth, Toby/Sanchez, Vertonghen and Davies and not pushing the full backs too far forward will make us a lot more solid at the back. Plus we’ll have the reliance of the athleticism of both NDombele and Sissoko to get back to help them out.

The issue with playing a defensive back 4 is that it will hamper our attack in the sense we’ll be one paced, which has been our downfall in the past. I know Spain for example have excelled by playing a ton of creative midfielders but they had attack minded full backs (Alba and Carvajal/Ramos). Whereas with us Aurier/Foyth and Davies don’t have this attacking prowess. I know we’ve got Son and Moura but where the hell does both or even one of them fit into the side if we sign Lo Celso? We need extra creativity in the middle and that will have to come at the expense of Alli or Son/Moura.

IF that reported interest from Bayern is true, and IF the player would choose them over us given the choice, it still leaves Bayern (or any club) to agree a fee that Betis are happy with. And as far as i can tell, unless a team is really desperate for a certain player (which Bayern don't appear to be) , and there are no other options available, then i'd hazard a guess that they would have a similar valuation of the player as we do (i mean, i assume there is some sort of method that agents/clubs use to evaluate these things, they can't just pluck figures out their arses.)

Fairly relaxed about this one tbh think it's 95% likely to happen.

Very possible, only downside is with Trippier gone, Rose going? Clouds handing over Toby, we’re going to be very light at the back on both numbers and experience. It will mean a lot of games for our experienced players, 1 or 2 injuries and we’re knackered. I know it’s an if but last was a prime example of how insufficient depth can seriously damage our team. If we’re serious about pushing for honours then quality, experience and depth is a must.

Son Kane
Eriksen
Lo Celso Ndombele
Winks
------------------backline-----------------
Lloris
Eriksen gets to play the #10 his preferred and best position, and is direct competition with Dele for that spot; with the view that either of them can also slot into midfield (i.e. for Lo Celso, who can also play the #10)
(Dele could also be an effective forward option in this formation playing off Kane IMO)

It's not bad..but.yes Dele...Lamela...Moura and Sissoko won't all be happy

It is a tricky one, but hopefully Poch will find a solution. I think Foyth will still try and contribute on the ball, and Sessegnon may be the offensive full back option on the left. Guess we'll have more of an idea once the preseason games start. It was obvious last preseason he was working on a 3 man midfield.

I 100% agree with the creative aspect. Poch couldn't have been so big on creativity before as we signed less creative players than anyone,he was always looking for more physical players but he must realise now this is the only way

Would be really disappointed if we didn't get him.

Both him and Ndombele would be a huge game changer.

That’s been a consistent message from Herc this summer, a formation change is upon us, so 4231 isn’t looking likely.

Bild also said that first priority is Marc Roca and if they can't agree pay less than 40m euro they would turn their attention to Lo Celso. So don't looks like a club that can offer 70m euro for him.

He's always so misleading with his Tweets. Think he means well, but his comprehension isn't always the best
It's win win for him. Pass on somebody else's info to absolve himself from blame but also sensationalise it so as to get more followers and attention.
