Stop pretending that the booing and sarcastic cheering are different things. They are both toxic bullying from entitled morons. Stop minimising this, it's pathetic.

It is definitely not ideal but then again Emerson Royals performances haven't exactly been ideal.

I didn't say he deserves to be bullied, and I wouldn't call sarcastic cheering at his substitution bullying either

How do you think that sarcastic cheering made Emerson feel?

It's toxic bullying plain and simple. If you can't see that then you are part of the problem.

I'm pretty sure TFH is simply trolling. If not, he's clearly not on a level that is worth discussing with. For the sake of the thread it might be worth veering away from continuing this conversation.

The booing and ironic cheers were not great to see Saturday. Yes he's not good enough in that RWB role, we know that but I do think he is trying and giving what he can. I've seen players give far less and not get that.

HOWEVER the compilations, the dancing vids as previews for games, the bad timing of it all when we've not been great or in bad form does not help his cause at all.

More victim blaming, great.

Please explain how him posting harmless videos on social media is in any way detrimental to his 'cause'.

Sorry I've not worded it quite right, what I meant is its set himself up to be a bit of a comical character. No problem seeing a positive player on social media, I mean his pre match gooners preview went viral because people were laughing after he got red carded.

With the compilations I'm not sure if hes done one after a poor result, i'd like to think he hasnt!

Also I've clearly stated I dont agree with it all so im not victim blaming i'm merely suggesting the above doesnt help matters because social media especially pcik up on any little thing noew

I can see what you're trying to say, but i just think it's a bit nonsensical mate. Either booing him is unacceptable or not. He should be able to post harmless videos on social media as much as he likes. If people are using those videos as ammunition etc, then they are the problem, not Emerson.
