Not sure if Queenie would be too pleased if her stadium was renamed.
The Elton John Stadium? Never heard it called that!

So how long until we get the information? It can't take long to run off a few photocopies can it?
they have 22 days to comply or challenge.
Well it depends, the Olympic Legacy Spokes person said WHam do not get any money from stadium sponsorship, concerts, non-match day sponsorship or corporate hospitality, they basically only get the stadium for use on match days only. If that is the case, and we will find out if that is true now, then it won't make West Ham very rich very quickly. Its the ability to utilise the full commercial benefits of a large stadium that makes it a money spinner - Newcastle have a stadium of the capacity West Ham will have at the Olympic stadium give or take a few thousand, but Newcastle aren't a rich club. You've got to be able to design the stadium to maximise your brand and your commercial revenues.

If they were genuinely not receiving any of the sponsorship money etc then I'm not really sure why they'd have gone there.
Aren't the Porn Barons netting a tidy sum from the sale of the Boleyn ground land?
Of course if they are just taking the money out then yes you can see why they'd do it.
