It was the other end of the ground to me so couldn’t tell during the game but seeing the replays last night it looked a definite penalty. I’m not sure how it can be argued that it wasn’t. We should make a fuss really unless that’s being too Arsenal about it!
It was penalty all day long. He controlled the ball with his hand !

Only Spurs buy a right back, only to find they had one deciding to perform all along. Emerson Royal take a bow he was excellent today.

Always great to get a win against this lot and sweeter to push them over the edge in the process! Growing up in Essex I know what it means! They will survive but maybe Moyes won't.

Now we could do the same by beating Chelsea next week and terminating Potter! COYS!!
Yeah but we still need rotation and I still think porro is way more dangerous against teams that fully sit back.

Very surprised by the spammers display. Their previous game I thought they had their mojo back and would be a real threat against us. As it turned out it was a relatively easy win with a few of their players missing in action. Their big problem going forward seems to be scoring goals and that could well mean relegation.

On reflection from yesterday I'm still of the same mindset.

It was a poor game between what looked like two poor teams. I think both Emerson and Davies did ok but going forward that is going to offer nowhere near enough creativity especially when you look at the central midfield options.

I think Richarlison offered what I thought he would. He can be really effective on the press and create situations which I think he did a couple of times yesterday
If both he and Son have to keep coming deep though they're both going to struggle as getting the ball in tight situations in midfield isn't their game.

The defence I think did well against the usually dangerous Antonio but in not sure if it's the same Antonio this season so I'm hesitant to think they turned a corner.

Overall a great result but let's not get carried away. I'll start signing from the happy songs sheet if we put three or four of these together in a row because convincing we were not and having seen United smash Leicester yesterday I think it's wise to proceed with caution where this team is concerned.
Yeah but Leicester caused United huge problems, they could have scored a number of goals, but they either messed up the final ball or the shot or de gea pulled off huge saves.
it wasn’t a score that was an accurate reflection. The first half particularly United scored completely against the run of play.

INCIDENT: Tottenham thought they should have had a penalty in the first half. Richarlison's attempted pass to Harry Kane was stopped by the hand of Thilo Kehrer. However, nothing was given by the referee and VAR did not intervene.

DERMOT SAYS: "I think it's handball and the referee has got to give it because Kehrer has his arm out. If he doesn't then it goes to Harry Kane.

"The referee has a good view of it and he waves it away. When he talks to VAR, he might have said 'I feel he's falling back and off balance and he's going to go to ground and block the ball.

I’m shocked Gallagher has said a ref has got a decision wrong, what he should also have said is, we have some terrible ref in this country but Oliver is one of the worst, the arrogant fucker!

What happens if the goalie is out of position and that ball is going in the goal but the defender handles is in exactly the same manner he did yesterday?

Oliver was giving that explanation for not giving it but surely the VAR man should have told him to go to his screen as in my opinion, that is not the case. The player waved his arm around and moved his hand towards the ball and didn't fall to the ground.

most players can now start to fake falling over and handle the ball….

it’s an absolute joke
