So conflicted on this guy. I know nothing about him, other than the fact Jose is keen and he seems highly rated. My issue is I think if he is played regularly I think Tanganga will prove himself better than Sanchez and Dier, by the end of the season, but will obviously need a bit of adjustment time. But if this Skriniar is definitely better than them, then having him go straight into the 1st eleven would be great, but I just feel it significantly reduces Tanganga's chances. Our CB situation isn't desperate esp with Tanganga coming through, but while I don't think they're terrible I don't have complete faith in Dier and Sanchez.

Basically my concern is he comes in and blocks Tanganga, who I think could be top class. I guess the ideal is Tanganga and Skriniar playing together for me, if Srkiniar is as good as some say but don't think it'll happen that way
This season, there is a good chance of a, dare I say it, title challenge. With a little luck and JM strategy. His transfer choices so far have been exactly right in my opinion, Hojbjerg especially through to identifying Sessegnon and Troy as not being ready and sent on loan.

If he wants this CB then he knows its going to push the team further towards competing for the ultimate prize. That may mean less chance for my man Tanganga. But the pursuit of victory is ruthless? I still think big T will make it at the top level but I sense a January loan if a top CB comes in.

My one concern, and I suppose it shouldn’t be, as it’s not my money, but £50m seems a lot for a CB, when you look at Gabriel for half that. That said, Dias went for more, suppose it’s a question of where he sits between those on ability.

I’m confused. I thought the Riggi thing was more of a joke, joshing type thing. IE; wishing, therefore making it happen. Now some say he did know something? I’m very confused
but, hey ho, his wishing seemed to get the job done last time, so, ya never know. Here’s to hoping his direct line to the gods of luck make this one happen too. would be the veritable cherry.

They want €50m, Breezer said we won't go above £40m
