I think we'll go back in as he's the final piece of the jigsaw and I believe would be a significant upgrade.
Just a bit of brinkmanship to make sure we don't pay over the odds.

Look at it this way guys. If we were never linked with Skriniar, and Vinícius was our last signing, we’d all be over the moon. It is completely fair to be a little disappointed if Skriniar doesn’t happen, seeing as we’ve been linked with him heavily, and him being one of the best defenders in Europe. BUT, let’s not look past this, we’ve signed: Jose’s first choice DM, one of the best prem proven right backs/wing backs, one of the best young defenders in Europe in reguilon, Jose’s first choice striker who won the golden boot in a league that has just produced Bruno, Ricardo pereira etc. and fits Jose’s profile perfectly, oh yeah, and Gareth fucking bale (and joe hart). As far as I’m concerned this window is already a 10/10, Skriniar would just make it an 11/10. Levys done bits this window, kudos to him.

Well yeah but the thing is we have plenty of CBs even with Foyth going on loan. I know some do not rate the ones we have, but it isn't necessarily a position we needed this summer. Skriniar is only a bonus now. Personally I will relax regarding deadline day and just enjoy it for once knowing we got Jose's targets in (which includes a bloody striker).
