because he’s an horrendous player. He did a stupid flick to keep the ball in in his own half and almost gifted them the ball. Terrible crossing. A terrible shot when in a good position.

He has no redeeming features at all.
He's too ahead of himself. He should spread thar confidence to others. But he's just playing for himself.

Reason for that is that he is utterly inconsistent. Goes from the sublime to the ridiculous. Probably the best right back we have but needs replacing ASAP.
That was in the space of one game!

It was only when we went 1-0 and faced embarrassment they half pulled their fingers out, and even then it wasn't a rip roaring effort to turn things around. That just shows a stinky attitude, culture, and complacency and a motivation issue. Put what are at this stage basically non-existent tactical identity into the mix and we're getting horrible performances.

Mourinho has said he isn't going to change much, in terms of personnel I don't see him changing from the pragmatic and conservative approach he's adopted throughout his career, but the best thing he could do is similar to Poch Year One - Gut the team of the wasters, those who cant or wont run, get 11 players out there who want to play and will give their all and die for the shirt, even if they're not the long term answer, and set some basic standards to build on. Even if that means a Sanchez/Tanganga partnership, or Skipp/Winks, or whatever, and get us to the summer. Too many who might be showing glimpses of talent but the standards and attitudes are rotten throughout the squad and need addressing.

I completely agree, would love to see Skipp getting given an opportunity. However I get the feeling that Levy is demanding top4 to the point where Jose isn't able to gut the team how he'd like and sacrifice this season to build for the next.

There is no pattern or shape of play. We rely on a player to come and save the day. Boro played with 5 at the back with 3 CMs and we still tried to go through the middle. No width whatsoever.

That wasn’t as appalling as some are making out - just lacking some cutting edge against a team that was well organised and got a lot of men behind the ball.
Agree just a bit of a boring game because they parked a bus and we couldn’t break them down.

Eriksen was pathetic today, Celso did more in a matter of minutes
Absolute nonsense. I'm fucked off with Eriksen as much as the next chap but I can't agree. He was the only midfield player trying to move the ball quickly. To switch play, dictate a rythem and transition. Complete contrast to dele who needs 37 touches every time he has the ball and still makes the wrong decision. Eriksen was one of our better players today and the intro of lo celso and lamela just meant there were more players trying to move the ball quickly alongside him.

The only thing I really enjoyed today was seeing a game refereed without VAR. It was like seeing a long lost friend whom I didn't think I would miss as much. Plenty of big calls but I think they got them all pretty much spot on. Even those that were too close to call and could have gone in our favour I was perfectly happy to lose out on just for the pleasure of seeing decisions made quickly and the game allowed to flow.

Mourhino sticking to his preferred players even though there woefully out of form.
Only when he's forced to make subs do we actually look half decent.
Next week the same preferred players will trot out the same shite.

Eriksen’s flaws were on display today but he passed the ball quite nicely. If he had signed a new deal people wouldn’t be so critical of his performance today.

Good point, was so much better without VAR!

GLC and Lamela come on and show Eriksen and Alli how to create.

Fed up of the Poch players being lazy now. They turned their backs on everything that he did and that worked. Fcuking pedestrian.

I think Eriksen has in general been decent and is copping way more stick than he deserves (of late anyway). Alli scored a few goals when Mourinho came in and has then done absolutely nothing to justify being on the pitch since then.
