Why the fuck have we been starting games at a pedestrian pace for over a year now.

Surely it's mentality and getttng them up more for it...

Seriously beginning to piss me off.

Play with more intensity from the start. It's not rocket science.

Getting away with it for months on end.

We were definitely sauntering about. The pace of our passing was so slow too which didn’t help.

On a positive note, I thought Lo Celso showed some moments of real quality today. I know they are similar players, but I enjoyed seeing both him and Lamela out there showing some intent

This team is so broken and short of confidence it's scary. Something mustn't be right. We were on quite a roll when Mourinho came, but it all went south after the loss to Manure.

I really don't believe the team is that bad. The players used to be fantastic. Now they are just pure shit. They are not lifted to play at all. No intent and passion. We caught a glimpse of what's possible when GLC and Lamela came on. What can be done to sustain that? And for one I really don't think Mourinho is of any issue.

The opinions on here are hilariously polarised. From "Aurier has played really well today" to "he's total wank".
Reason for that is that he is utterly inconsistent. Goes from the sublime to the ridiculous. Probably the best right back we have but needs replacing ASAP.

It was only when we went 1-0 and faced embarrassment they half pulled their fingers out, and even then it wasn't a rip roaring effort to turn things around. That just shows a stinky attitude, culture, and complacency and a motivation issue. Put what are at this stage basically non-existent tactical identity into the mix and we're getting horrible performances.

Mourinho has said he isn't going to change much, in terms of personnel I don't see him changing from the pragmatic and conservative approach he's adopted throughout his career, but the best thing he could do is similar to Poch Year One - Gut the team of the wasters, those who cant or wont run, get 11 players out there who want to play and will give their all and die for the shirt, even if they're not the long term answer, and set some basic standards to build on. Even if that means a Sanchez/Tanganga partnership, or Skipp/Winks, or whatever, and get us to the summer. Too many who might be showing glimpses of talent but the standards and attitudes are rotten throughout the squad and need addressing.

Shit result but we finally started playing proper football in that 2nd half. Hope Lo Celso and Lamela start the next game.

Last thing we needed was a replay

This team needs time on the training ground, not another bloody game.

Jose has given ample opportunities for some of the players. They can’t blame him if they are dropped in upcoming matches.

I still don't understand how we can look like a load of players at a testimonial who have just met. Casually jogging around hitting aimless balls around.
