Mourinho is just a useless
5 years vs 4 months.
This shouldn't need explaining, but that's why.
5 years most of it playing great football vs 4 months of the most negative stuff. Levy needed to throw everything behind Poch, instead he gambled on someone who is a known disruptive force. Mourinho may have won lots of trophies but every club he been at he leaves scorched ground behind him. He has never taken responsibility for anything that goes wrong. It is not his fault he sold De Bruner or Sallah.

I wouldn't know, I know nothing about you.
Well, I didn't get why you replied "yea, no" to my first post

and I genuinely have no understanding of what the second one was talking about, not even the jist.

It sounded pretty intellectual though, so I assume there was a point in there that went way over my head and I failed to understand

I wouldn't dare assume mate. I mean I could be a dog named Jeff. You wouldn't assume that though.

Gb160 and Vinny Samways Left peg will argue the opposite to me.

I just thought yesterday was the last straw he did not try to go for the matches after we were behind he just gave up.

I was fully for him, but this is the first time I've seen a manager not try to win a game or play players to prove a point since Redknapp.
Completely unprofessional

Poch had relegation form for a year. And The football wasn't great since we left White Hart.

None of that bollocks is relevant, thats just your own lazy, ignorant opinion.
He's been in the job 4 months, thats why he deserves some patience from the fans.

Maybe Levy should've thrown everything behind Poch, but you know what? he didn't, and it doesn't matter anymore because he's gone...stop crying and get used to it.

Ummm.. poch was backed last summer... Christ
not enough though mate considering we'd not purchased a player for 2 windows before that.
We yet again didn't really address our key areas of weakness.

Going into the summer we needed to improve:
GK - needed a decent 3rd choice keeper - plenty of homegrown options out there but we go back for that midget Vorm again who basically got us knocked out of the FA CUP
RB - Trippier sold and Aurier not good enough = no RB signed
CB - Jan & Toby contract running down and Foyth not good enough = no CB signed and Toby only re-signed in Jan
LB - Rose needed moving on and Davies is ok as a back up so we needed a new LB but = we sign Sessengon who is really a Left Winger so basically no improvement on LB
DM - Wanyama crocked and Dier massively off form and no confidence after illness and injury, huge need for a DM = we don't sign a DM
CM - we addressed with with Lo Celso and Ndombele = Lo Celso great signing but so far Ndombele looks like a waste of money only time will tell, seems to me that we could've easily got Grealish for half the price of Ndomble if Levy didn't penny pinch
AM - we needed to re-enforce our attacking options as only Son is really to the level we need and consistent enough, Lamela is always injured, Lucas is inconsistent etc = we sign a raw 19 year old talent in Sessengon and then in January sign Bergweign, ok signings but nothing special and if we'd paid a bit more of the fee for Bruno Fernandes oh how different our team would look right now same if we'd got Dybala over the line but same old story with Spurs we huffed and puffed but didn't get it over the line
ST - n.o1 priority to get at least 1 back up for Kane if not 2 = we let Llorente go and don't replace him or add another striker and this has been the main downfall this year, its negligence of the highest order from the recruitment team.

If you rate Jose or not I defy anybody to say there was " a lack of effort " for me they run their socks off and effort was 100%.
For me that bodes well for the future . The only downside for me is we are like a pencil that has not been sharpened and until we get our strikers or at least one we are going to struggle . you only have to look at Leicester they could not win a game for at least 8 games without Vardy he comes back and they win four nil . Every team would struggle without their main two front men and Leicester still had Ineacho .
Man unt lost Rashford but had Martial . The lack of foresight to not get a back up striker at least two seasons ago for a player that has history of getting injured is pretty poor from the men at the top .; because as fans we knew you could not keep on flogging Kane to death and not expect him to get injured . I am in the " I did not want Jose but we must be fair to the man and give him at least the summer window to put things right " camp.

Jose deserves time and the chance to sign the players he wants to make whatever system he has in mind work.

If he is an abject failure, fine. He'll get it from all quarters.

If he is a success, also fine. People get pots and awards and all those things.

He's four months in to this job. It's not been a roaring success, this season is in the can.

Todays 'news' and the current 'mood' around the club isn't remotely positive, probably to a degree, with good reason.

If you want to plot how what the future holds fine, but I'm still going to comment.

I look forward to what the future holds, and like a wheel, it will turn - bad times and good ?

I am sorry everyone his tactics are dog s***e. They are you either attack or you defend as a player. This ends with your forwards sprinting at full pace too much with no support.

I have compared him to Allardyce but I realise that is unfair on Allardyce because he normally got his teams to play as a team. Even at his best Mourinho has always been about the individual.

We also missed a trick Glenn Hoddle summed it up superbly on BT sports. After the CL final win lose or draw we were in a position of strength and this was the season we should have really backed Pochittno . Now it seems desperate
Pity Glenn is now not up to th ejob healthwise. i quoite like the idea of trying him assisted by JJ

Which camp are the players in? Especially the ones we desperately need to keep. That is the key I think

Absolutely needs time and patience from fans. There’s no point appointing a manager like JM if he doesn’t get at least some of the players he wants. That’s the bit that makes me nervous given Levy’s comments on the impact of transfer activity from failing to make the Champions league.

Wouldn’t it be great if JM actually made this a success just to give the finger to the journos and fans who have pretty much slammed him from the off.

I've always believed that everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Your posts make me seriously question that belief.

No way do I blame Jose for any of this. Granted the football could do with being better, but it was damn well turgid under Poch too in those last 12 months.

Massive holes in the squad and first team and a lack of investment for the best part of 18 months; it's all on Levy and the top tier of management in the club.

It’s completely possible to recognise that JM needs time to implement his ideas and to also show concern about the lack of any cohesive style. We’re a mess currently and while Kane and Son would clearly give us additional firepower, it’s far from certain we’d be much more coherent than we currently are.

All I can see when we play are individual players fighting their own battles, admittedly to varying degrees of intensity, and then our play breaking down to nothing. We should be better than that, even if we’re short up top.

I also hate the public criticism of players; it rarely works out and usually breeds resentment and bitterness amongst players
