I reckon it will be frenetic and scrappy, as both teams try to press the other.
I think it'll come down to which goal keeper or defence fucks up the most when both teams try and piss ball about at the back when boxed in.
Does my head in. You can see a mistake coming. The other team don't have to carve a defense open because everyone ballses it up themselves. I guarantee Liverpool will look their most dangerous and most likely to score when we've got the fkin ball in and around our goal area because we just will not clear the fkin thing when we need to.
Everyone does it these days not just us and Liverpool. Forgotten how to defend.
Edit. I know we've a great defensive record lately but I reckon if you watched back all the goals we've conceded in last 3 years a big chunk will be our own doing. There's a few goals every week in PL like this that shouldn't happen.
Edit. Case and point- see Derby defender chest it onto post last night instead of just putting it out. Jeezus christ  we must try to keep the ball no matter how insanely fkin suicidal that may be. If we ship 3 goals trying to keep possession it'll be worth it o_O

This is going to be tricky, they're on a bad run but I think that works in their favour to an extent. They'll be desperate to get a result against us and make a lot of fans and pundits eat some humble pie.

I honestly wouldn't like to call it either way, but if I had to put money on it I'd go for a score draw, and whilst most probably won't agree I don't think that would be a bad result considering out relatively easy run in to the end of the season.

There is no easy run in. Look who the top 6 dropped points to in last 2 weeks. There'll be plenty of surprise fk ups from everyone until end of season.

Well yes, obviously anybody can beat anybody and all the other tired clichés but "on paper" our run-in is relatively easy.

They'll almost certainly be so up for it they'll look like they've swallowed a batch of Asterix's magic potion like City did the other day.

We'll have to weather the storm, but hopefully we can hold out, quieten the crowd and then turn the screw as they tire.

Feels like a huge game this!

Would feel infinitely more confident if we had Verts and Rose back... Even then I'd still be astounded if we won.

One of those grounds I can never envisage us getting something at.

That's probably because we've won there something like once in 50 years on the league.

Tough game. Imperative we weather the early storm.

I reckon 1-1, Kane for us.

Personally, I think it will be a draw, I think Liverpool might nick it though, they will be looking to respond and they always play well against the top teams, they will probably have their game of the season against us and given our injuries and our away record against them if we do manage to win this it will be a massive statement on behalf of us and will effectively end any chance of Liverpool winning the title and also will likely put them in a real negative spiral which will result in them finishing outside of the top four.

Please Spurs, please beat them.

Pool are unbeaten against the top 6. And we haven't won there since...? 93?
We'll get a point at best but most likely a loss I feel.
They are a wounded tiger at the moment and with all their losses lately now is the worst time to be playing the, when expectation to get a result and correct things is even higher. Mane is back and with extra readiness so its the worst time for us to go there and get a result we need. I'm gutted Mane isn't still at the ANC and we now need to put everything into this match as it will mean 12 pts behind CFC (and guaranteeing the title race is over for us again), dropping down to 3rd place as City will also win, and put us back squarely in the dogfight for top 4, rather than solidifying 2nd position.

Its true, theres no easy games now..But there are some games that are much harder to get 3 pts from than others and this is definitely one of them - if not the only one left.

Let's see if we can finally get a result that actually solidifies our position for once. Always seems to be that just when we get the chance to pull away, we don't take it and allow those chasing us back in the hunt.

A win on Saturday would be a huge step in ensuring Liverpool can't catch us
