Just to let you know that Comolli's watched him 3 times at Elland Road the past month or two. A colleague of mine has met him in the directors' box there.

Perhaps one of our famous 10 training balls and a set of drill tops deals a la Lennon/Rose is in the offing this summer?

A very promising ACM - great passer actually quite reminisant of Gary McAllister in his pomp. Would be an excellent one for the future signing.

Thanks Dan. Interesting to hear about the 'ones for the future' too.

Given it's always a bit of a numbers game for the young ones I'd expect to see lots of activity at this age group. By that I mean you bring in a lot of players because a bunch of them won't make it to complement the truly homegrown ones.

Be even nicer if we had shedloads of truly homegrown ones coming through to the first team though!

I'd prefer to let you keep him for now. He can gain some experience in the lower echelons of the football pyramid and maybe add a bob or two to the cheque we eventually write. As for the curse, getting into the England team is some curse. The fact that neither could stay reveals an obvious flaw in your academy. Can we have a refund? Swapsies? :wink:
