Just watched last ten mins again. Still can’t believe it. As someone else said on the Bergwijn thread fair play to Hojbjerg for holding stevie back after the winner from running into the crowed and getting a second yellow and then a suspension. Great leadership shown there. I’m 100% convinced we’re winning in Sunday now!!
Yes. And an amazing last-ditch block on Barnes to keep us in the game towards the end. Great ball through to Doherty for the equalizer, won the ball and found Kane for the third, Set up two Kane chances in the first, and had a shot saved on the line as well. Not bad for a player who has taken a lot of criticism for being useless going forward. Great game from him. Sanchez was great too, and Kane looks close to his best again. The first half was probably our most dominant away performance in the PL since peak Poch. Perfectly set up by AC and perfect performance apart from not scoring the three goals that first-half display warranted.

Went out to watch the game at this restaurant/bar for the first time since covid... The same place we watched the Ajax comeback.... With 8 mins to go we still believed.... Still can't believe it happened again there.

Deserved the win. Was great to see HK back to somewhere near his best too and very very happy for SB.
You need to get a fund-raiser page going so that you can go to that place every game!

@ziggy congrats on your new arrival- I hope all is well

I thought the comments from Söyüncü on Bergwijn and then the reaction-the shove, to get himself booked seem to spark some rage into him. If so, lets hope Chelseas give him a hard time.

Can’t lie I really thought Skipp Winks Hojbjerg was going to be unbelievably stodgy. Somehow that midfield produced the highest Xg in a PL game for 10 years. I mean I don’t to go overboard but that really was genius of Conte playing Skipp and Hojbjerg more advanced with Winks as the pivot.
Its crazy, It’s almost like Antonio knows exactly what he’s doing, while the beautiful minds on here aren’t anywhere near as tactically competent as their confidence suggests.

Like the end of the Ajax match and the end of the first game of this season against City, I have a feeling I'm going to spend a lot of today repeatedly watching about 2 minutes of football.

Soyuncu tried punching the ball out of the goal for our 3rd haahahaahha
How mental would it have been if he was on/ahead of the line and he did that? He would have seen red and Kane would have had to take a 97th minute penalty to win it against Schmeichel, who saved his last penalty.

Not sure my nerves would have held up!

The handball for Bergwijn's first

Isn't the rule now as long as it's accidental and someone else scores it stands?
I spotted that on the first replay but, knowing that they changed the rule last summer to stop goals being ruled out for ‘incidental’ handballs in the build up, I was immediately relaxed that it wouldn’t be a factor.

Ridiculous that there was ever a time where that caused goals to be chalked off.

Lucas vs. Sheffield United still puzzles me. The fact that we didn't even get a free-kick after the disallowed goal due to him being scythed down, meaning he landed on the ball with his hand was an absolute joke.

Hahaha! We watched the 2nd Man City game in the CL run there too.

Honestly, I feel that had we gone there for the final we would have won but my mate decided to go to the actual game :banghead:

Our fans looked like they were kept behind in the stadium well after the final whistle. Does that usually happen?

Just to make things even better, I work in Leicestershire where everyone but me is one of them. Not only am I walking around in my Spurs beanie all day, but I also get the pleasure of taking money off a load of them due to my stupidity/confidence at taking their bets. They hate us so much. I live for days like this!

I'm only commenting on it due to comments from other fans asking why VAR didn't look at the goal.

VAR would have looked at the goal, it looks at them all. Just people not knowing the rules.

How many people do we think still don't know Spurs won last night? There must be someone who switched off in the 94th minute, turned their phone off to avoid all the WhatsApp messages, and went to bed with the raging hump? Who are you? Are you only finding out right now?

Come on, don't be shy.
