I left Cardiff at 11am to get back to Bristol to watch the match and it was a struggle on the M4, didn’t get back until 12:15. Quickly made a couple of fried egg rolls and poured a pint of Neck Oil to sit down dead on 12:30 to watch it and as it began It crossed my mind the effort we as fans and I put in every time to get to the stadium or to home to watch my club over the last few years only for me to be sat unfulfilled and pissed off within 10-15 mins. What a lovely, lovely thing it is to be rewarded for that effort. No empty words from Ange, he does want to make us proud and he believes it. After 3 league games he has my unwavering support no matter what the season chucks at us. About fucking time. A good performance with everything to build on. Great, great feeling and what football should be. Thank you Ange!!

There was a time I used to whinge about early kickoffs because we were always so lethargic looking. Not now - a well prepared team ready to play. Bravo.

in fact the organisation of the team and the system employed is really impressive. What a manager!

A bit of a mixed bag for me. We were far the better team but never really dominated the game. We started the second half poorly but Ange’s substitutions reasserted our control. Well taken goals that really demonstrated Postecoglou’s style. Still early days but very good signs.

I thought VDV was very assured at the back today. He and Udoggie are looking very inspired signings.
Richarlison really needs any old type of soft/ lucky goal to gain confidence. Thought he played well in the first half but a few bad touches in the second half and his confidence was shot. Good move to substitute him. We just have to keep having confidence in him. Remember Kane never used to score in August.

Thought Richy was fine today outside of that horrid couple of minutes in the second half.

His movement was good, pressed the ball well. He had an excellent flick on that sent Kulu thru to goal. Everyone attacking him for that missed chance and maybe he could have shot first time but reality is he did the defender and was going to score if it wasn’t for the defender sticking his hand out there to block the ball (zero clue what the hand ball rule is).

Apart from that first 10 minutes 2nd half we looked pretty in control

Wasn't spectacular, but fun to watch and decent all round. Sonny looked to get in more dangerous positions, delighted to see Kulusevski score. We still have a lot more to get out our front 3, but how good is our midfield.

Even when we changed it round, Hojbjerg, Skipp and Lo Celso did decent enough to close it out.

Brilliant interview with Ange and Crouchy and Joe Cole after the game in the studio .
so funny, taking the mick out of the studio assistant who was trying to stick the mic up his shirt.
great character who talks such a lot of sense .
Daniel may have struck lucky.
any news on Doggie. I thought he had done his ACL by the way he went down. Walked off but doesnt mean much.

Another morale boosting win. The difference between Ange and Conte so refreshing. He could see the tide was starting to turn and made quick amd decisive key substitutions taking off Richy and Sarr and it brought us back from temporarily being on the ropes and we then went 2-0 up.

If that was last season under Conte, we sit deeper and deeper trying to cling onto a lead don't make substitutions Richy gets more frustrated getting a second yellow and we cave in and lose 2-1 after leading 1-0. So refreshing to see.

Proactive subs were great to see.

Thought Hojbjerg and Perisic were both decent and helped us regain the control we had first half.

Very impressed with Romero and moreso VDV today. VDV looks like he could become a monster for us for years to come.

Was mostly impressed by how well we played after changing all 3 midfielders, thought we'd lose alot of quality with Bissouma and Maddison of the pitch but we looked just as good with the completely changed midfield 3.

Also, massive shout out to the fans. Unreal today, had you not of known you'd have thought we were the home team.

Micky was brilliant today.

I absolutely loved after the final whistle the whole defence and Vicario had a group hug and celebrated together, they were all absolutely brilliant today and I could see the passion they felt for getting that clean sheet

I would really prefer to see Richarlison start on the bench next game

I didn't see any improvement to his game today, and to be fair Son was fairly anonymous throughout the game as well.

Very early days, but i do fear that Richy really isn't the answer up top for us. Reminds me very much of Soldado and Janssen, all the running but for us no end product.

Time will tell i guess.

I don’t think we truly realise the damage that was done by Conte. The players will need time to move on from that and some will do quicker than others. I feel his personality (from what I’ve seen) will mean him being one of the last to move on. He will come good but the problem is we don’t have the time to wait for that. We need goals/points now to become the competitive team we were in Poch’s days. We need a CF now that can come in and make the other players feel they can rely on him to put those chances (like the ones he’s been missing) away.
Do we keep him? I really don’t know

This is an interesting game to see the Ange effect. 3 reasons. We usually struggle in 12.30 kickoffs. We usually have a come-down match against lesser opposition after a big win. We usually don’t win matches where a win would make us go top (as this one would albeit temporarily). So 3 precedents to overturn. Can you do it, Ange? COYS
Yes, you can do it, Ange!

He just caught his studs in the turf, and apparently didn't want to come off, but Ange thought that it was better to send 'Benny' on as subs have to be off for 30 seconds. (which I didn't know).
