Strapping!Imagine if we come May had 7-8 games in hand, winning all overtaking Wham.
Would be the Verstrappen of football.

Or we'd do a "Spursy"Imagine if we come May had 7-8 games in hand, winning all overtaking Wham.

Last Christmas, you gave us a break....Imagine if we come May had 7-8 games in hand, winning all overtaking Wham.
Would be the Verstrappen of football.
How though? We have no midfield and two key cbs out also. We also have our two best wingers out…I think it's the other way round, can only see a Foxes win if we play them, still don't agree we should
But by time Pool game, we have near full squad and if we're just training Thursday onwards, then fancy our chances to give them a good game
If it’s West Ham we’re involved with then it’s more likely to be Verstrappon.Imagine if we come May had 7-8 games in hand, winning all overtaking Wham.

Yeah agree can see 2 losses if we play both this weekNo idea why any Spurs fan wants this to go ahead tbh.
We all miss watching Spurs, but with a massively weakened squad and next to no preparation the chances on a decent result are minuscule.

No matter, was just a jokey comment. When I finally get round to inventing a sarcasm font I'm going to be both understood better, and rich.Don't understand that comment, but each to their own ?

But we can put pressure on the Prem and ask for the game to be postponedWhy do people keep saying "I don't know why we (Spurs) are wanting this game to go ahead" It's not our (Spurs) choice, the Premier League decide. Once the training ground is open and we can prepare for a game then the League will let the game go ahead. Once we closed the training ground and UTD did the same then the PL had no choice but to postpone. Most clubs are having issues. Norwich, Leicester, Villa, UTD and us, probable others too that have not disclosed
Yes, the PL have a decision to make regarding the league itself but until that happens we play, yes we have a depleted squad but so do Leicester and other teams in the league

Good questionWhy did the club reopen the training ground ?
Didn’t say it was good, just based on what’s assumed available after Covid, could be what we seeThat team is terrible
and look what is looking likely to happen in the Euro game? Possibly being kicked out. So we tell the PL we will not play., then what? 3 point deduction? Only way they would postpone is if we kept the training ground closed. This is why teams have 25 man squads. We are as depleted as Leicester so why will they run riot? But we can put pressure on the Prem and ask for the game to be postponed
We were happy to put pressure on UEFA and apparently unilaterally cancelled that game, for understandable reasons
But the tone coming out from sources such as Football London is that we are optimistic the game is going ahead
It seems we actually want to play this game for reasons that I and many others find difficult to understand
For sure Rodgers wants the game to ahead, he can't wait for his Foxes to run riot in our henhouse.
It will also be a double whammy, tiring and demoralizing our team before Liverpool
If we play on Thursday I expect us to lose our next two games and top 4 looking a long way distant
