Why do people keep saying "I don't know why we (Spurs) are wanting this game to go ahead" It's not our (Spurs) choice, the Premier League decide. Once the training ground is open and we can prepare for a game then the League will let the game go ahead. Once we closed the training ground and UTD did the same then the PL had no choice but to postpone. Most clubs are having issues. Norwich, Leicester, Villa, UTD and us, probable others too that have not disclosed

Yes, the PL have a decision to make regarding the league itself but until that happens we play, yes we have a depleted squad but so do Leicester and other teams in the league

But the tone coming out from sources such as Football London is that we are optimistic the game is going ahead
It seems we actually want to play this game for reasons that I and many others find difficult to understand
For sure Rodgers wants the game to ahead, he can't wait for his Foxes to run riot in our henhouse.
It will also be a double whammy, tiring and demoralizing our team before Liverpool

Only way they would postpone is if we kept the training ground closed. This is why teams have 25 man squads. We are as depleted as Leicester so why will they run riot?
