Haha, that was not a cryptic!!! JJ was making a joke about the way A&C polices the ITK thread and how transgressions usually lead to something big and solid being inserted in a very personal manner!

I don't think I've EVER seen JJ post a cryptic, he's one of the straightest talking ITK's out there.

You can't blame some people for inferring stuff though, especially when most of the current ITKs might as well type in hieroglyphics. You really have to work to decipher what they're trying to say these days (with a few obvious exceptions)

I know we seem to be the only club struggling with transfers this summer, but would be absolutely shocked if Villa are able to buy both King for £16m and then Watkins for over £20m, especially having already bought Matty Cash for £15m.

I can understand that you might think it but I have no idea how you can "know" it. We've already brought in three players (disregarding Alfie Devine) considered to be shrewd signings and all sources - itk and media - seem to think that we are far from finished. Even that one or two further deals are close to being agreed.

Think you may have misunderstood my post - I'm saying that even though a lot of Spurs fans think we're the only club unable to spend money this summer, a lot more clubs are in the same position and won't be able to chuck money about. Especially a club like Villa, who could still go down next season.
