He didn't rest too long before getting back on the old wagon.

No way thats the case. In theory Roma could pay him £1 per week and let us make up the difference.
That’s pretty much what Martinez done to Everton when he took the Belgium job.

Done it for next to nothing and Everton had to keep on paying him ?

Funny when it happens to someone else ?

#TottenhamHotspur have agreed to subsidise José Mourinho's salary in his first season with AS Roma. His new contract is worth €7M annually, but Spurs will financially contribute initially to match his previous €16M salary. [SkySports Italia]

Does that sound like the kind of thing Levy would agree to?

There’s the answer as to how true that it. There’s no way Levy pays another manager while he’s managing another club. I guess they could be talking about us paying him until the start of next season. But I expect if he’s been announced now Levy will be speaking to the club lawyers and trying to get out of that.

That'll do for me, at least we're not paying him full wedge to sit in the Sky studio sending sly little digs our way. ?

Sounds exactly like what Levy would do - saves him/Spurs £7M over the next year.

And, gets Jose out of England.

Hopefully he’ll be backed by Roma’s new owner and he’ll be interested in taking Lamela and Moura with him. I’ve got nothing against these 2 and quite a few are more deserving to be sold but if we need to sell to raise funds then I could live with these 2 going ( along with the others ).
