The Regullion sub was an absolute mystery to me
I presume he couldn't last the 90 but it baffled me. We were on top looking good. Changing the shape just out the defence at even greater risk of being countered.
Didn't matter in the end to be fair

Seems like I'm bucking the trend but I think we should stick with him.

He doesn't yet have the personnel to be able to allow us to really compete - he (and everyone else here) knows we need one of those CBs that solidifies everything at the back - the ones that lift those around them.

It sounds like we need to be thinking about Hugo's replacement too (I think we should look at Pope if poss for that).

Imo it would be stupid to hire one of the most successful managers out there, give him 1 1/2 of the most disrupted, weird seasons ever and sack him off without getting him the players to compete.

What was the point of leaving out Rodon in the EL if you’re not going to play him in the league ?

He only has himself to blame for continuing to pick Sanchez & Dier who are awful on their own let alone as a pair.

Do you not think it's got better since the West Brom match, I mean the football was shit and everyone agreed that he should allow the team to play and seemingly so did the players, at least we're getting more out of them from am attacking perspective now.
I think this is fair, and he should persist with it as the other way around had long enough without working before it was shelved. Our defenders can’t defend in any system so might as well try to play some football.

Now it’s just about the right personnel.

First 11 games

7 wins
3 draws
1 defeat
24 points

Last 13 games
3 wins
3 draws
7 defeats
12 points

We've gone from championship winning form to relegation form with the flick of a switch.
I read this and go FFs 13 last matches FFs.
But then I remember that this is 2021, and it could have been the 90s, but it isn’t the 90s, so phew we are very lucky.

Think Rodon has looked as much mistake prone as as anyone else in this squad, but I agree it'd be more progressive to find out what you have in him - as long as he is given time which is in short supply when it comes to young footballers.

12 points from the last 39. Give the job to the nearest groundsman you can find and they will do a better job.

in that period we have beaten only Leeds outside of the bottom two clubs, who let’s face it are so far behind they are relegated already. We did manage an imperious draw against the side third from bottom. Seven defeats and not a single point from a current top ten team.

That I am afraid says everything about where we are now. Any more of this and next season we can look forward to relegation. Maybe that’s what we want then we can win something, the Championship, so that lots of fans will be happy. Never mind the second in the league, Champions league finals, several years of quality football mixing with the best in Europe.

yes let’s win the League Cup where we have heroically beaten two Championship sides and won a penalty shootout. Maybe we can park a fleet of buses in the final and win another penalty contest to lift the magnificent trophy that will mean Tottenham are a great club again ... oh dear some people are so deluded

I'm not going to slag off Jose or the players as it's getting boring, but we are third from bottom in the form table for the last six matches, shocking from the so called 'special one'

Caveated by playing football against teams we are clearly better than will keep him in a job longer as opposed to playing with the hand break on.

I fully expect him to park the bus against teams who are clearly better than us and teams who are designed to play that way, I'm okay with that.

Considerably less than what I’m paying to watch Spurs now.
You're paying money to watch Spurs now?

On the adult cam thing, adult friend finder was the first money spinner - it's amazing what women will pay for when you're in your 20's ... If you've got enough front to bare all, more power too you.

Get what you’re saying by just not enough positives shown to keep him mate

He’s been out injured so couldn’t play 90 mins and we needed a goal so he put on extra attacker

Then you have to question the logic of making that Doherty sub for Tanganga early knowing you will likely need another attacking sub. We couldn't bring Davies on for Reguilon in that moment because we needed something else going forward so we ended up with dele for reguilon which gave us an unbalanced team.

Delusional. Said it before and I’ll say it again. He hasn’t adapted to modern football because he lives in his own anal passage. He thinks his own methods can stand the test of time.

they can’t

tbf though it seems we have some thick as shit players. a lot of them don't come across as having a high football IQ or in general.

this group didn't win anything under poch and now Mourinho, who has won wherever he's been is now struggling

Football has changed, Jose hasn’t. The best teams attack and play on the front foot. Confidence sapping tactics, constantly worrying about the other team. Not trusting players, digging them out, transfers itself into a lack of confidence, the outcome of which is individual errors.

It's as if you didn't watch the match today.
