José has proper rattled United fans with his diving comments that didn't even specifically mention them. ?

Yeah the sky image yesterday was his record in finals. Lost one to Chelsea in FA Cup Final (his most recent final) 4 from 4 in league cups though.
This is the graphic that was put up in the match (that we're talking about) in tweet form:

OK, Alem de

As a native portuguese speaker it's very difficult to understand the difference between "apart of" and "apart from". This is because the words "of" and "from" often mean the same thing in portuguese. It's something that you need "to glue inside ur head" rather than trying to understand.

I had a similar problem when I was trying to say something related to songs, like "Arabella from Arctic Monkeys" instead of "Arabella by Arctic Monkeys".

I guess you were trying to be cheeky here, but unfortunately I'm said to have to point out that your cheekyness falls quite flat. "Além do" is in no way a verbatim translation of "apart from", and if you knew the exact meaning of "Além do", you would understand much more easily why Mourinho uses "of" in this way that annoys you so much.

For me Mourinho's English is very easy. He isn't the absolute best English speaking foreign manager in the PL, but he is really good and he does it so effortlessly. I would say Wenger, Villas-Boas for sure, and maybe Solskjær are all very good English speakers, and Mourinho is up there with them.

Compare that to our success in semi-finals

Just for clarity - the last 10 years....

20/21 Semi-Final of EFL - Won

18/19 Semi-Final of CL - Won
18/19 Semi-finals EFL cup - Lost
17/18 Semi-finals FA Cup - Lost
16/17 Semi-finals FA Cup - Lost
14/15 Semi-finals EFL cup - Won
11/12 Semi-finals FA Cup - Lost

Now do FA Cup semi finals we played in since 91. I bet there’s no record like it in world football

Enough to make you throw up

I thought Mourinho did well to get Hojbjerg off the pitch after DaSilva's red card. PEH looked like he was ready to crunch somebody.

Dealt with Mane pretty comfortably for a lightweight. Credit where credit is due he has been quality for Southampton and given the opportunity would have been at Spurs as well. Doherty vs KWP, it’s KWP everyday of the week.
Entitled to your opinion mate but I was at the Bayern away game in the CL last year and KWP looked like he was a school kid playing with world class adults, completely out of place at the top level.

Good solid little player and very glad it’s going well for him at Southampton but think he’s far too lightweight especially for how Jose wants to play.

I don’t blame him, that could’ve been a lot worse than a little scrape on the shin with a tiny bit of blood. By footballer standards he’s a pretty hard ****.

I had to laugh at one report that said 'Hojbjerg was left with blood gushing from his shin'. Errrrr.............OK.

Played well against Barcelona at the Nou Camp despite his initial mistake I thought. By then when he played for Bayern his confidence was shot, it was the same when he played against City in the 2-2 earlier in the season - it was clear he needed a move and thus a run of games, sometimes players need to take 1 step back to take 2 steps forward. Now he's playing for a team who are pushing top 4 in the Premier League and he is one of their best and most trusted players.

Mate, he’s just played against arguably the best attack in Europe and kept one of their main players in his pocket.

He’s developed well in the last year and is currently one of the most accomplished fullbacks in the Prem.

In no way is he lightweight.

I know, they do love to make a big deal at even the slightest bit of blood in football. I wish more footballers would get angry like Hojberg rather than acting like a pussy, though, so fair play to him for that.

My Mrs was positively shocked and said how bad it was, I then showed her a picture of Sam Parry’s recent knee injury for the Ospreys which he laughed off after the game and she said “well yeah but that’s different” I said, “yeah one looks like it really hurts and the other looks like it would barely hurt at all.”
