I’m not getting carried away at all, it’s still early days but the positive signs are definitely there. The squad mentality alone seems to have drastically improved, and they will have had a further boost from the manner of yesterday’s win. If José gets everyone pulling in the same direction, with a siege mentality, then that’s half the battle of unlocking the potential in this squad. It’s my birthday so I’ve had a few — and no one is happier that we knocked out those cocks today. But let’s keep it real. We drew 1-1 at home. Some massive positives for sure (Reguilon looks the bollocks). But let’s keep it together. Thursday and Sunday are arguably much bigger games. I think then we’ll have a better idea of where we are.
Anyway, as you were. I’ll have one more drink. And maybe, maybe text one more Chelsea fan ..,
We also seem a lot smother going forward in the last couple of games with a much better balance between defence and attack. You can actually see what Mourinho is trying to achieve, which wasn’t always the case last season. ? ?
Happy Birthday ??
