Had my misgivings when he was hired but once it was done, felt he needed to be given a chance. However, can't help but feel this is the same Mourinho that was at Utd towards the end of his time there. Never bought into the 'new Mourinho with a new style' stuff and some of the recent showings have been utterly painful to watch and can't believe how bad it has got.
Can argue giving him a chance means giving him a couple of transfer windows to bring in some of his own players but have no faith ENIC will deliver what he wants (even more so in the current climate) and think he'll be looking for a way out...obviously through being pushed rather than jumping. Always felt it would only end that way from the off. Never felt the right fit for the role and the constraints it comes with.
Bringing in a manager with a more attacking philosophy may help uplift players but I'd expect him to hit the same brick wall under ENIC and ultimately the real issues when it come to success on the pitch lay at their door.
