It's a start. Time and patience needed, until the next match anyway.
We won so this thread is quiet. Had we drew or lost they’d be out in force moaning.

As is the way on here, they're all in the ndombele thread. We won so this thread is quiet. Had we drew or lost they’d be out in force moaning.
First 30 mins we were having issues getting the ball into the right lanes and when we did the passing wasn't sharp. I think that was 50 percent because WH had set up very well and were cutting the passing lanes off, secondly probably because Alli and Lo Celso were not as sharp, also Sissoko is not the player for these situations. Jose definitely did something in that talk because we started getting past their screen.I thought we were poor first 20 or 30 minutes but after that dominated. He seems to make a difference in drinks breaks.
Always makes the right subs too. Lamela on for Dele for example. Now those that knock him must realise that’s what he meant when he was talking about lack of options off the bench after the Man U game. Pretty obvious.
I think some real positives the last two matches, mainly we look much more solid than we ever have done and without a solid base you will rarely win anything.
I like the dier & Sanchez partnership and consistent back 4 2 games in a row finally
Pre Lockdown - defence like a sieve and an absolute shambles
Now - 2 solid defensive performances, a comfortable win and a very good draw against an inform Utd
Seems obvious we’ve been working more on defence. He’s just said the following though so maybe more will come up the other end.
"We managed to be really solid today so I'm also happy with that.
Defence is looking better these days, look much more organised.
Time on the training ground will have helped, have to say though that, whatever their service records for us, noticeable the difference having removed what were two absolute fossils from the defence.
Much has been said about Jan's total drop off and how his legs went, but Toby had prior to lockdown become horribly tentative and way less mobile himself.
Sanchez and Dier I think we'd all admit aren't the perfect centre backs. But at least they're not shitting their pants abut whether they can cope at this level. Just got to give them these games as a partnership and assess where we are in the off season.
Mourinho has definitely done the right thing here though thus far, so kudos to him for that, and I hope he continues with them in the next few weeks. They're the two of the four who have any real future with us.
I think it adds weight to the rumours that he wants a new centre back too.
I never wanted him out. I want him to change the turgid football.
The ironic thing is those that keep harping on about those who don't like his football are the very same people that they're describing... So funny.
We can be critical
You can also be patient how about that?
How would anyone on here know this?I totally agree with patience... That's why I don't want him out but Progression is important with that..
Let's not kid ourselves however... I would think that even levy is disappointed. He isn't paying someone 15m a year one if the highest in the world for patience.

LOL
Sure thing buddy.I'm his best mate. Well a friend of a friend who knows his frienda brother
Yet there were some Einsteins in here the other day blaming Jose for us being currently in 8thThat's a big improvement over the 14th place car crash he took over.
