So there is no celebration time allowed at all?UEFA don't force people to drink alcohol from 8am. That's on the fans themselves. If you feel you need to be drinking from that early to get excited and ready for a football match then you may have a problem. I've never understood it myself.
As for work, it's one day. Most places have sanctioned off days and late starts. Wouldn't put it past Boris to sanction a bank holiday if it happens. But if you can't get up the next morning due to a hangover after drinking for the whole day that's on you and not UEFA for deciding the KO time. You could just call in sick. I guarantee most up and down the country will do so anyway.
Once it’s over its straight to bed?
My kids still have school at 8am and I was told could start an hour later but must work on an extra hour to make up for it.
I have friends who w been told if they don’t make it in tomorrow this will be looked into.
No idea why it couldn’t be played on a Saturday or 5pm today.
