Yep, people should know better than to go along to a football match, hoping to enjoy the occasion and have a good day out, without some thug hurling a brick at your head... I mean what do you expect?

You gotta say, by luck or by judgement, it is poised rather nicely tomorrow evening. I can’t wait.

The moment that 'but' was inserted you're post became irrelevant.
No not really it isn’t. It’s irellevant to you. As your agenda is different to mine. Anyway. Done speaking about it. I’ll just enjoy the final. Hope you do too sweets.

Morning all,

Before you go about your day i just wanted to squeeze this in.

Sam Matterface is an arsehat.
I dislike him regardless, rambles like a moped misfiring. He makes himself the voice of authority. Commentators should remain independent from the game. He makes his opinion heard.

When Sam Matterface finished ITV’s commentary on England’s historic Euro 2020 victory over Denmark, he concluded with a plea to viewers asking them to stick with the commercial channel for Sunday night’s final on the basis of “superstition”.

If England do win tomorrow then Tottenham will become only the second club in history to hold a very special record. We will have in our first team the Captains of both the World Cup and Euro winners at the same time. Apparently the only team that have been able to boast the reigning World Cup-winning captain and the reigning Euros winning captain in the same squad was Real Madrid in the 2008/09 season when they had Fabio Cannavaro and Iker Casillas. I truly hope you enjoy the final, and irrespective of this disagreement I hope that Sunday night is a good one for you and everyone else including 'pissed up twats'. Nothing could be sweeter than an England win. The country, it's people and the team deserve it and the pride that comes with it.

Italian team training at Spurs today. Fabio get to work fella!

It can’t have hurt having the England, Danish and Italian squads all train at Hotspur Way if we decide to pursue any of them.

I know Mings was blown away by our training facilities. I’m sure he’s not the only one.

All the non Spurs lads in the England squad were very positive about it. Sounds like we have high class facilities.

You know the story that when Levy was invited to St. George's Park for the opening of the site, he looked around and said "mine's better".

I know we joke about it but I’d love to see the reaction from some of the Italian squad walking around it for the first time.

Great chance to turn a few heads

I am absolutely certain that they will all be blown away by the place. Let's hope the memory goes back with them to their respective clubs and any Spurs prospective signings will also be suitably impressed when they listen to what wonderful facilities we have to offer.

No doubt between now and 8.00pm Sunday (GMT) we will have some banter in here concerning the final but it's nice to know that the vast majority of SC members are fans of good football also. Both teams are capable of producing very special moments and I cannot believe this will be 0-0 after 90 minutes. As I said earlier I think we have to win the game in 70 minutes because after that with the depth in your squad then the England team will only grow stronger as Italy weaken. Whatever happens it's great to see a Spurs player lead the England side onto the pitch for this long awaited final.

Huge day for our family / nation tomorrow as we also have a finalist at Wimbledon with Mario Berrettini facing Novak Djokovic. My mother loves tennis and sits glued to the screen for Wimbledon fortnight. I cannot imagine my parents reaction if somehow Italy manage to do the double. Maybe my Father will give my brothers and I the day off on Monday ! Now that would be something to remember. (y)

Italy have impressed me during this Euros, love the attacking approach as I usually associate you with a solid defensive base and better in-game management that sees you through (even if you do have the shortest striker in the world  )

While I think we (England) should have enough to finish the job I keep having a nagging feeling that Chiellini will do something to get one of our players sent off and turn it in your favour.

I just hope for a good open game without too much gamesmanship from both sides
