Manchester United @MUFC 1m

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Louis van Gaal as the club's new manager following the decision to relieve David Moyes of his duties.

You're implying too good for EL, which would suggest should be able to win it.... Thanks for the rating, love a good spam
We play on Arsenal on Sunday. Arsenal played on Tuesday, we played on Thursday. See the difference? No pointless Europa and we won't have played at all. Again, see the difference?

Then we get to the money side of things. Do you know the difference between the Champions League and the Europa League financially?

Top players only want to play in the Champions League. Have you not yet noticed that? They leave us all the time to go and play in it, and will do so again this summer. Why's that?

You know if we do magically get through this round, we'd still have two quarter final games, two semi's and the final still to play. That's five games, plus the 4 v Benfica and Dnipro. Plus all of the group stage and the qualifiers, too. How many games is that, on Thursday nights, usually inthe middle of fucking nowhere, to win a cup no-one really cares about?

Progression isn't coming from EL qualification. Hell, we can't even get close to winning it. We're not going to grow as a Club if we don't get top 4, it's as simple as that. If you don't get that, you're just as simple.

And don't say it's not possible for a club like us.

2 points from 8 games.

Jason Dozzell starting for us.

I've experienced a whole lot worse than this. Hurting as I am, as I'm sure we all are, this is a walk in the park compared to some of the times I've been through.

You'd rather win the EL than qualify for the Champions League.

Ah, so you're just as thick as the players. You really can't see it can you?
Trophy means more than 4th to me.. You don't have to try and persuade me with insults though, but hey you stay classy

If we aren't good enough for EL, what makes you think good enough for CL? You say 4th would make us grow, but we have gotten it twice and since then have we grown? Its been 5/6 years since we last won a trophy, we take the piss out of Arsenal for their length, but we are nearly just as bad, trophies been everything, whether it is a EL, FA Cup or League Cup trophy, I'll take any of them

We could wake up back in 2012, on our sofas where we've nodded off for two minutes and see the tv showing we are 2-0 up at the emirates, and realise that this last two years was just a horrible dream and we are in fact, about to make the gap even bigger to solidify third in the league.

Then, over the next hour of football, arsenal turn the game around, beat us, go on a magnificent end if season run while we fall away and behind them, finishing fourth. We watch on as Robben misses his penalty, Chelsea win the champions league, Harry gets sacked, Bale has a spectacular season before forcing a world record transfer to Madrid, we sign not the Beatles but 7 beetles, Avb gets sacked, Tim takes over, Adebayor starts scoring, Benfica batter us at the Lane, and then....

I read the first sentence and I'm not even going to bother reading the rest, I'm done with you. You just don't get it, you won't get it and there's just no point
