What a bunch of hello kitties you are. Swooning over a cringeworthy bro choreography that should be reserved for a grammar school locker room.

What next? Duck dance? V-sign girly selfies by the touchline? Badge kissing, ffs?! :banghead:

If you want to be original then score extraordinary goals and celebrate like a man: Resoluely lift your collar (Cantona), do the Jesus (Berbatov), do the Philosopher (Thuram), or do the old-fashioned fist pump.(y) Single high-five should suffice in most cases.

Only the staged Chelsea celebrations with AVB were more embarrassing.

Pansies.

Yeah don't mind they do seem to be getting more elaborate though
I dunno how they remember it all but then I'm in my forties and spend most of my life in a cocaine and alcohol induced haze so I suffer with short term mem..... Nope it's gone

Why do some people hate them so much? Each player has a unique handshake thus every player is involved and as others have said it shows the togetherness and spirit of our squad.

That and it only happens when we score or win, so if it's happening then it's a good thing.

If you hate it then that just proves how much our club has improved. So much so, you have to critique a celebratory handshake. Says it all how far we've come as a club.

I literally couldn't give a fuck as long as they keep scoring and winning....
... And as long as they don't start dancing a la Henry/adebayor or Sturridge

They have f*** all else to do after about 11.30 apart from play video games, buy jewellery or practice celebration dances. Occasionally they might treat themselves to a ridiculous haircut. Right, I'm off to The British Legion to talk about how we won the War.

It's draws the kids and the next generation to Tottenham. Great when we're winning.

I don't have a problem with it at all. It just shows that there is a really good spirit around the club, and that can only be good!

I am 60 and I Love it,
1) It means we are scoring goals
2) They are bonded as one group and not individuals
3) Other team fans hate it

I love it, and I love that it pisses people off.

It shows a fantastic team spirit. It makes me smile every time. They're young guys, having the time of their lives. They should be enjoying it

If they were doing it when we were bang average, it would be a different case entirely. But we're not. Think the criticisers come over as grumpy old twats

Rehearsed team celebrations are hardly new things. But only worthy of positive coverage if done by foreign or lower league teams, if seems

dont mind tbh

If the only thing the fans have got to moan about is a goal celebration you know things are going well.

Poch started it!

But the initial routine of exchanging the traditional greeting was established by Pochettino, who has insisted all of his players shake hands prior to training during his spell in charge at White Hart Lane.

And the Argentine coach is adamant the procedure ensures bad feelings cannot linger before Spurs start their working day on the training ground.

"It's very important to create a good dynamic," Pochettino told Tottenham's official website.

"When you touch a person you can feel, you can translate emotion.

"It's very important to try and create a better feeling from the beginning of the day and start to work in a different mood," he added

Not bothered by it to be fair. It shows the togetherness of the group.

Good memory you and the other poster who remembered this. Poch implements it and the players like it and take it further, and Poch clearly doesn't mind and prob likes the creativity. This kind of stuff has been going on in the NFL (I think), definitely in America for a while. It's just an excessive amount of dapping up, and when you listen/watch a lot of hip-hop over time, you'll start noticing the different dances seeping into the routines as well as 'stomping'. I've always liked it so its cool seeing our team do it. . Video below was in the news. A teacher creating a different handshake with each class member so each one feels special, and also builds bonds. Ours is the same premise.
